*the next day*
"Grace? Come on we are going to go give the gift basket to the new neighbors. The boy is kinda cute." My crazy mom screamed to me.
"O my gosh mom! Stop it I am coming don't worry.." I said as i jumped off my bed and down to go conquer the steep hill, once again. I did my routine as I tucked in my feetl and hugged myself as i fell off the hill, I managed to find a swinging vine and slide down off the cliff. I ran to the kitchen where my whole family (little sister, little brother, mom, dad) were sitting waiting for me.
"LET US GO!" I screamed as the lead adventurer of the family. No, my whole family aren't adventurers, but my mom secretly is. She told me, but my dad doesn't know.. As we exited the house we all marched to the next-door neighbor's home me leading. Once we reached the door, i ringed the doorbell.
I could hear footsteps coming. "Hi!" A young boy about my age said to my whole family.
"Oh, hello! We are the Jenevives: Im Jane, my husband is Fredrique, these two are Zayn and Leah, and this is Grace. Are your parents around. We are your next-door neighbors by the way" My mom said with a friendly and happy voice.
"Yeah, let me go call them.. Mom, Dad!" the boy said as he ran up the stairs. I blushed, he looked so perfect and dreamy. I need his number! Then a couple minutes later he came back with his parents, or so I think.
"Hi, were the Harpers, I am Lina and this is my husband Georgio. This is our son Armani." The tall woman standing to the right said to us.
"Hi we are the Jenevives, we got you a little home welcoming gift." My mom replied to Lina as she handed her the gift basket. I smiled to the boy.
"Hi, I am Grace, nice to meet you and welcome to 453 Sunset Road" I said to Armani.
"I am Armani as you already know probably. Do you go to Cleavertee High?"
"Yep, i sure do! Maybe we can carpool, here take my number, and sometimes we can hang out" I said blushing.
"Sounds perfect!" he said. Than I ran home without saying bye, because my whole family had already gone home and I was alone with him, so it got really awkward. After I entered the living room I decided to watch Switched At Birth on ABC's FreeForm. Ugh, i hate that they changed ABC Family to 'Freeform'. Don't forget this ever, netflix is bae.
*ONE WEEK LATER*
Armani <3: Hey Grace, you wanna hang out today, around 6, maybe go out for some boba tea. You know if you want too.
Grace: Sure!
"YYYYYAAAASSSSS" I screamed as I replied to Armani through text.
Grace: Should I meet you somewhere, or should we go to each other's house?
Armani: I'll pick u up! Don't worry about that!
Grace: Ok :) Thx! ttyl!!!
"MOM, can i go out for boba tea or something with Armani at around 6.. You know our next door neighbor?"
"Ok, fine, have fun Grace. Cause in 2 years you gotta long adventure in front of you" my mom told me with a smirk on her face. I laughed knowing what she meant..
