[Noah's P.O.V.]

Clark drives to his apartment and the ride is silent. The radio isn't on and neither of us has said anything. I reach over and turn the radio on to end the silence. If it's silent I'm stuck in my thoughts and I really don't want to think about Delilah right now, so I use the music to distract myself.

When Clark parks the car at his place he get out and walks around the car and opens the door for me. I sigh, stepping out and Clark shuts the door. He takes my hand in his and we walk to his apartment.

Once we're inside I walk into his living room and lay face down on his couch. I feel a hand running up and down my back before Clark speaks.

"What happened?" He asks gently. I groan and it comes out muffled. Clark chuckles slightly and I raise up.

"Me and Delilah argued. I just didn't feel like staying for the rest of the day. Oh gosh, do you need to go back?" Clark shakes his head.

"No, I'd much rather be here with you than at school." He smiles brightly and it causes me to finally smile.

"You're so sweet, Clark." I tell him and pat the space beside me. He sits down and I snuggle into him.

"I try." He replies as he wraps his arms around me and pulls me into his lap. I feel my cheeks heat up and I gasp when he kisses my neck. I can feel his chest shake as he chuckles and I wiggle around in his lap.

"If you're gonna be a naughty boy, then I'm going to go home." I tease and he groans, grabbing my hips to stop me.

"If you don't want me to be naughty then don't do stuff like that."

I ignore that and hop out of his lap, rolling onto the floor. I lay face first and spread my arms and legs out.

"What are you doing?" I hear Clark ask and I lift my head up so I can talk.

"I'm hungry. What do you have to eat?" I question. Clark's silent for a moment, probably thinking I'm a weirdo.

"Uh, I don't know. Go look if you're hungry." He replies and I sit up from the floor and put a hand on my hip sassily.

"You're my boyfriend and I need comfort food. Also, it's YOUR apartment." He rolls his eyes playfully and stands up, walking to the kitchen. I want to change into something more comfortable, so I go into his room to look for something.

I look through his drawers before finding a pair of basketball shorts and tugging them on after I take off the skirt I was wearing. I also find an old tshirt and change into it. When I come back into the living room Clark is sat on the couch with two things of cup noodles.

"Thank you!" I say cheerfully and sit on the couch next to him, snuggling into his side.

"No problem, cutie. Just gotta wait a few minutes until you can eat them." He replies and wraps an arm around me.

"You look really different wearing those type of clothes. It's kinda weird." He comments and I just laugh.

"I'm sure it is, you've never seen me in baggy close like this, have you?"

He thinks for a moment before shaking his head. "No, I don't think so."

I hum and bury my head in his side the best I can. He's just so warm and cuddly. We sit in silence, just cuddling until I realize I can probably eat my noodles now. I sit up and grab them off the table. I look back at Clark and he's already watching me with a serious expression on his face.

"We can talk more about it, if you want. I know you must be hurting.. She was suppose to be your best friend." He offers. I clear my throat and force a smile onto my face.

"No, it's fine. I'll probably forgive her eventually, I suck at holding grudges. Even when I want to."

He leans forwards and plants a kiss on my forehead. The sweetness of it causes me to smile softly.

"Holding grudges isn't a good thing to do anyways and, as much as I don't like her, I really think she thought she was doing something good. She wasn't, of course. But I, uh, don't really blame her. I don't have the best reputation, you know." Clark rambles and I chuckle a bit at him.

"I don't care about your reputation Clark, I love you. You're one of the best things in my life." I tell him. I know it's sappy, but it's true.

Clark grins widely before planting a kiss on my lips. He sits up and pulls me into his lap, wrapping both of his arms around me.

"You're THE best thing in my life, Noah. Without you I would be lonely and bitter. I'm so lucky to have you. I really don't deserve you." He says and, honest to god, it looks like he has tears in his eyes. Wow, we're being super cheesy.

"Well, you may not deserve me, but you have me." I joke a bit, causing him to roll his eyes.

"And you have me." He says, kissing my cheek.

Yeah, Clark has done some stupid stuff, but it's all over and done with now. We have each other and I can honestly see us staying together for a long, long time. Maybe that's just me hoping, but I don't really care. Clark really loves and cares for me, something my own mother couldn't do.

Clark makes me happy, and I trust him not to break my heart.

✱✱✱ THE END ✱✱✱

A/N: it's been too long!! I just have not had any motivation to write this ending and yeah I know it's not very good but I can't be bothered to actually go back and try to make it better. Sorry 😁
