A.N.: Ava's graduation dress in the MM.

2 Years Later
Today is the day I graduate from high school. I'm nervous and excited as hell at the same time. I've been looking forward to this day ever since freshman year. Now, that the day has come I'm totally freaking out. Its crazy how the years have passed by.
Yamile and I are getting ready together at her place since its a shorter ride to the arena. My grandparents, father and Jacob came for support. I'm so thankful to have them in my life. Without them I don't think I would've made it. I just wish that one special person would've been able to come today.
"I can't believe we're actually graduating today!" Yamile squeals.
"Right! Where did the time go?" I exclaimed.
We're trying to get our hair put together. I decided to go with straight hair while Yamile went with curls. I didn't feel like going through the long process of doing my hair. It would take a miracle to get my hair the way that I want it.
Once we were finished with our hair, a hour later we moved on to our dresses. We're both wearing white skater dresses with black heels.
I had to help Yamile put her dress on so she wouldn't mess her curls up. They were cute and I would've been bummed out if they got messed up too. She looked so cute once she put the dress on.
"You look so freaking gorgeous!" I gushed.
"You think?" she asks.
"Hell yes! You're killing it!"
Yamile strikes a few poses that made me laugh hysterically. "Ok! Your turn!" she claps excitedly.
I grew more nervous as I walked into the bathroom to get dressed. Yamile was excited to finally see me in my dress. I sent her a picture of it a few days ago and she absolutely loved it. But I have to admit I do look really good in this dress.
After I'm fully dressed with shoes on too and I walked out of the bathroom Yamile screams. She runs over to me and gives me the biggest hug ever. She then takes a step back to get a good look at me.
"You look absolutely beautiful! I fucking love it!" Yamile squeals.
"Thanks." I giggle.
"Time to take a few pictures!"
She runs over to her bed and grabs both of our phones. We stand in front of her full length mirror and started snapping hella pictures. The pictures came out great and we couldn't wait to post them on IG later.
"Girls! Are you ready?!" Mrs. Guerrero, Yamile's mother, yells from downstairs.
"Yes! We're coming!" we yelled in unison.
We giggled as we walked out of the room and made our way downstairs to where everyone is waiting. When we made it on the staircase everyone began snapping pictures. We did a few poses on the stairs then we went outside to snap a few more.

It was blazing hot outside, I hoped that my makeup didn't melt off my face. They needed to hurry up and snap these photos so we can go. I'm not about to stand in this hot Texas sun for too long. I'll literally die out here.
They finished taking pictures after five minutes. I wanted to go back inside to get a drink of water but Grandpa Edward stopped me from going inside.
This shit better be good.
"Ava your grandmother and I got you a little graduation present that we hope you'll love. So please, if you would look in front of you." he says.
I'm confused as hell because I don't see anything. But then a few seconds later I see someone walking towards me. I squint my eyes to see better and I realize who this person is. I really hope that this isn't a joke right now because I'm literally about to cry.
"Hey sweetheart." the familiar voice says.
I can't believe its really him. Its my father. He's actually here. I ran to him and embraced him in a long hug. Tears swell in my eyes but I held them back so I wouldn't mess up my makeup.
"Dad." I choked out. "I've missed you like crazy."
"I've missed you too Ava." he says kissing my temple.
Aaron lets me go so he could take a look at my dress. At first it seemed like he didn't approve of it, because he stared at it for a long time. But a smile made its way to his lips. I sighed, when I saw him smile. I didn't want him to be upset.
"You look lovely Ava. You've really grown up within the last two years." Aaron smiles.
"Thanks Dad. You don't look bad yourself." I smile playfully nudging him in the arm.
"Well I tried my best. I didn't want to come to my baby's graduation looking horrible."
I giggled and gave him another hug. We have so much to catch up on. I can't wait to hang out with him later after the graduation.
"Oh!" I say suddenly remembering. "I want you to meet my biological dad." I pull him by the hand and walk up to my father. "Dad, I want you to my other dad Aaron. Aaron this is my father, Drew." My father smiles and extends his hand out for Aaron to shake. They shook hands.
"I just want to say thank you so much for taking care of Ava. She turned out to be one quite young lady." my father says.
"You're welcome. And I apologize for taking away 13 years of her life from you." Aaron says.
I took a few pictures with both of my dad's before we all went off to the arena. Aaron was all that was missing from this special moment. To have him here with me made me feel so much better.
"Are you officially out of jail now?" I asked curious.
"Yes I am. It feels good to finally be back." Aaron says.
"Well I'm glad that we can now spend time together. I really miss all of the fun we used to have."
"I do too. That's why were going anywhere that you want to go for the summer."
That made me smile and bring more tears to my eyes. I really couldn't wait until the summer now.
