It has been a year sense mabel had been in gravity falls. It was a warm June day, school just ended for the summer and mabel is eager to see her brother again. Dipper had stayed in gravity falls to become ford's apprentice. At first they would video chat after school but slowly video chats turned into brief texts and short akward call's. Mabels parents told him that he had changed, but they didn't say how.
Mabel showed up and got off the bus at gravity falls. Great uncle Stan greeted her there. They talked and got ice cream before heading back to the shack. And nothing could compare her for what she would find there.
