Evan sat in the dark room, sitting on his bed and his back against the wall. He looked down at his laptop that rested on his legs, watching a video of another YouTuber playing MineCraft. He couldn't stand to watch any GTA or GMod videos since that would remind him of his... "friends". The Canadian sighed and looked over at his desk: empty soda cans, empty water-bottles, chips, an empty pizza-box... The Asian's tired and dull eyes blinked slowly, looking at the mess.

A mess... What was he? A mess? A shut-in?

Both. He was both. A shut-in and a mess. It's probably been about a month since Evan's actually gone out. The only time he ever goes out is either to take out the trash or to clean something outside of the house. Maybe as well go for a walk, but only down the street.

Evan dazed at the messy spot, before sighing and closing his laptop, setting it aside. "Gotta re-supply, I guess..." The Canadian mumbled, standing up from the bed and walking over to his closet, grabbing a black jacket and slipping it on. He walked out of his room and ascended down the stairs, walking towards the door while picking up the ring of keys and putting it in his pocket.

The male left the house, closing the door and locking it behind him. He lived rather close to the grocery store. Maybe he should get coffee on the way too... This is a once-in-a-while thing now, after all.

Walking down the snowy sidewalk, another dark night with snow falling as slow as time- well, for Evan that is. He's made no interaction with a lot of people, lately. Just his dad that he lived with, of course, but sadly he was out a lot to the point where he would come home late at night.

Fong's eyes dazed around at small sights, seeing how good it is to actually see something nice.

Something nice? He can't have anything nice anymore. After what he did, he can't.

The Canadian sighed, before seeing a light from a small building up ahead. He was nearing the grocery store, and the light came from the cafe that always stood near it. It wouldn't hurt to go get something from that cafe... Would it?

The bells that hung on the door handle chimed as Evan stepped into the small place, wiping his feat on the door mat that laid there. It was rather warm and cozy in the place... Maybe he could stick around in there for a few minutes.

"Hi, how may I help you today?" A young male grinned as Evan approached the counter.

"A small coffee would be fine..." Evan replied back as the male nodded and turned around to go make his order.

Taking in the features of the male, he had messy brown hair and hazel eyes. He seemed to be around eighteen years-old, and had a happy mood on. Something that bugged him was that he sounded familiar. And that familiar-ness had burned up a small amount of anger in Evan, but the Canadian had just shrugged it off.

After a minute or so, the younger male came back with Evan's coffee, handing it to him. Fong's eyes dazed over at the name tag of the employee. 'Kevin' is what it had imprinted.

"Here you go, sir," The young lad grinned.

Evan blinked, before slowly taking the coffee. "...How much?"

"None."

"...None?"

"Yeah, none. I can tell you're having a bad day, sir," the boy supposedly named Kevin chirped.

Evan blinked. Why is this boy being so kind to me? How does he know I'm in such a bad mood?

"We can talk about it if you like. My name is Kev-"

"Kevin. I'm Evan..." Evan said softly.

"Nice name," Kevin grinned.

The two talked for a while, probably for an hour. During that hour, Evan started learning some things about Kevin: Kevin absolutely loved milk (milkbags in general), he was eighteen years-old, didn't have his drivers license yet (which Kevin had mentioned was pretty embarrassing), and said that working at the cafe was just a side job.

"So, what do you do, Evan?" Kevin asked, as he made himself some coffee.

Evan blinked, before dazing his eyes down at his coffee. "Uh... Well, I use to do YouTube as a job..."

"...Use to?"

"Heh, well- yeah..."

"What happened?"

"It's... Actually pretty awkward and embarrassing to say... This one guy took my friends away and now... I guess... I guess I have no one to talk or play with," Evan said softly, giving out a small sheepish laugh as well, "You can say I'm becoming a shut-in, I suppose. You can also say it's a mean of jealous-ness of the little incident."

Kevin blinked, before taking a sip from his cup of coffee and exhaled. "Well, it's alright, Ev. Hey, how 'bout this; I'm off tomorrow from both of my jobs, so I can take ya out tomorrow."

Evan stared at Kevin in slight confusion. "...Take me out tomorrow...? But... You can't drive?"

The other Canadian just laughed before grinning, "I don't live around here, so I take the train. Here, I'll write down my phone number," Kevin said as he took a paper and pen from the side of the counter and started writing on it. After a few seconds, the eighteen year-old handed over the paper to the older Canadian.

"Just hit me up anytime, alright? If you don't wanna hang out or if you're not free tomorrow, I completely understand. And again, just hit me up anytime," Kevin grinned, "It'd, uh, be cool if you came tomorrow, though."

Fong stared down at the paper that had the younger male's number written on it. Someone this young being so nice... I should probably repay him for getting things off my mind...

"...I'll think about it," Evan grinned softly as he put the paper in his pocket. He looked at the time on the clock that was placed hanging on the wall, seeing that it was almost late. "I should get going..."

"Alright, well, you have yourself good, alright man?" Kevin grinned.

Evan nodded and the two Canadians said their goodbye's before the older one had walked out of the door.

The Ex-YouTuber ascended down the street, slowly approaching his house. He then stopped dead in his tracks realizing something.

"...I forgot to re-supply... I forgot my wallet too..."

 It must've... Been a while... That's why...
