Chapter 7:
"Hey honey! How was your date?" My dad asks excitedly. "It was good." I reply. "Henry is such a gentlemen." I say, leaving a little hint of excitement in my voice. "He's amazing." I say dreamily. I went up to my room thinking about the events that unfolded that night. After we went ice skating we went back to his house. First a romantic walk, then relaxing and snuggling on the couch together, and lastly a tickle fight?! So romantic. I wish it could've lasted all night. He really seems into me, but my friends think differently. They think he's some kind of player or something. I'm pretty confused what to think anymore. Guys are pretty confusing. I just wish he'd tell me how he felt. As I was laying there thinking about all this,
my dog Avery came running into my room, "hey Aves" I say reaching down to pet her. "What do you think about Henry?" I ask her. She barks and
wags her tail, I'm assuming that's a good thing. "Time to go to bed Avery," I say as I turn out my light. The next day I wake up not feeling any better, I had a dream about Henry last night and it's not helping my decision. I dreamed we were in the park together and he scooped me up and kissed me. My first kiss!! All my head keeps saying is Henry, Henry, Henry. This is so hard.
