"Have a good day sweetie! Have fun!" my mom called out from the house as I drove off to my second day (B day) of school. "Let's see here," I said to myself while examining my schedule. "P.E., science, history, and symphony. Seems like a pretty okay day!" I said to myself while getting out of my car and running into the school to find Juliet and Sarah.
"Hey! Leah! I'm so excited to be in symphony with you! It's going to be so much fun!" my friend Henry said cheerfully to me as I walked through the doors of the school. "Yeah! It's going to be so much fun to play music with one of the best musicians in the world!" Juliet called out, walking over to me. "Haha, thanks Juliet, but I think that you are the one who's the best. Not me. I may be good, but not as good as you and Henry." "Understatement!" Henry exclaimed. "Haha, anyways, I'm excited to have a class with you guys too!" I said excitedly. "It will be so much fun!"
When the bell rang, I said goodbye to my friends and walked off to my first period B day class, P.E. "Leah!" Bruce called out, "I'm so happy that we have another class together!" "Haha, thanks! I'm happy too! It will be fun!" "Leah?!" a familiar voice said behind me. I turned around and was welcomed with the beautiful, smiling face and the just as beautiful, sparkling, sky blue eyes from none other than Spencer. "Spencer! You're in this class too?!" I questioned him happily. "Yeah!" he replied. "Okay class! We will have plenty of time for hellos and friends later." the coach said, smiling as if she was remembering memories of her high school friends. "My name is Coach Craner and I will be teaching you all sorts of sports as well as exercises. Go change and meet me back here." she said.
"Sarah! Hey! I didn't see you walk in! Sorry!" I said to her as I gave her a hug. "That's okay, I came in a little late." she replied. "Do you know what our first sport is going to be?" Sarah asked me while getting dressed in the white shirt with the school logo on it. "Umm, I think it's softball." I replied as we walked back out to the gym.
"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late! I'm Coach Vincent. Coach Craner was kind enough to take over all of you. But now that I'm here, we will split you up so that we won't have so many of you per teacher. But don't worry, you will still see your friends as you will be playing against them in teams in the sports you will be playing. Listen for your name!" Coach Vincent said. "Okay we have Nick, Ben, Molly, Bruce, Allen, Sarah, ..." "Bruce and Sarah?! But I was so excited to be with them! Hopefully, I will still get to see them a little like Coach Vincent said." I said to myself, worried. "Hey Leah! I'm really happy that we still have Coach Craner." Spencer said to me. "Oh my goodness! Yes! You're still with me! That's awesome!" I said happily back to him. "You ready to play some softball?" Spencer asked me. "Oh yeah, I'm totally ready." I replied.
