My stomach clenches and my heart thumps, the heaviness in my chest making me nauseous. Sweat glistens my quivering skin as his tan body saunters toward the plane, his white t-shirt and black jeans clinging to every robotic move he makes. His tightly-packed suitcase is ripped from my blurry view by the smiling worker as she shuts pushes it onto a cart,  her dark blue lanyard swinging itself along with her rushed movements as if in a hurry to keep up.

The awaited tears trickle down my rosy cheeks, my muscles falling limp and my legs losing their energy. I blankly cup my throbbing head, my fingers gripping the tangles of the loose strands from my top knot that have fallen since the ride here. The dragging pain of my sizzling heart overtakes my cramped thoughts as the weight on my chest persuades me to cry harder. A light touch on my shoulder forces my head to slowly look up, the person leaning over me in a protective motion. I blink rapidly to clear my vision, the stray tears dripping down my chin and landing in a puddle on the tiled floor. Lizzie stands there, a silver car key hung around her neck, stringing itself along on a dark blue college lanyard similar to the worker's. My eyes meet hers and her hands lock with mine, supporting me enough to pull me up from the aching position I was currently in. She wraps her arms around me and I fall into her, the crushing pain wrapped around my heart too much to bear.

Hello! For some odd reason, you've clicked on my book and decided to read it. I just have a few things I'd like to say before you actually begin the book.

1) I cannot update on schedule! I can try my absolute best to update every Monday, but I will most likely fail. But I can try!

2) This book is MINE. And only MINE. I did not copy anybody! If you recognize a name or two, then HOORAY for you; You've met or heard of somebody with a basic name. Just because you see a name that you recently read in another book does NOT mean that I copied them! Some people share names!

3) This book most likely will not, but if it does get many reads and you want to post it somewhere else, ASK ME FIRST. If you see this book anywhere else, PLEASE TELL ME.

4) I absolutely love comments and advice, but PLEASE be nice about it. Don't hate on me or the book in any way. If you see grammatical errors, or anything that does not make sense: COMMENT. I will read them and correct the mistakes. I post the chapters on here to help advance my writing as much as possible.

5) If you have any questions or ideas for the book, contact me. I take every idea into consideration. I will respond if you do decide to tell me your ideas, but I CANNOT tell you whether or not I will use your ideas. (BUT if I do take your responses into consideration and use them, YOU WILL RECEIVE CREDIT. The chapter will be dedicated to you, and at the end of the chapter, Your name/username (whichever is preferred) will be listed!!!

6) I really hope you enjoy the book, BUT if you don't like it for any reason, you can just delete the book from your library, or just click off. I'm not deleting the whole book because one person doesn't like it.

7) All the characters are FICTIONAL. They are not based on anyone or anything.

8) The more comments and votes each chapter gets will help me update faster because it will encourage me to use my spare time to write.

9) If you get offended by anything in the book, IM SORRY. I don't mean to offend anybody, and I'm absolutely sorry if I do. If you are deeply offended, contact me and I will try to change the writing so it will not offend anybody in the future.

10) BASICALLY, to sum this up, CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS, ADVICE, IDEAS, ETC. I will respond! Please try not to HATE ON ME OR THIS BOOK. Click off if you STRONGLY disagree with anything written in it, but if it is a small detail, comment and I will try to correct the mistake.  And I WILL GO BACK TO RANDOM CHAPTERS AND EDIT THE WHILE WRITING NEWER CHAPTERS. BEWARE OF ANY CONFUSION THIS MAY CAUSE.

The characters in this book can be confusing so here's a list:

-Ryleigh Russel: Main character, selectively mute. She is a songwriter and meets a new, hot, heart throb of a band.

-TeriAnn Russel: childhood friend of Ryleigh's, was adopted by the same family as Ryleigh when they were five.

-Blake Wilson: The charming one of the band, thick brown hair and hazel eyes

-James Laurey: The nerd of the group, dirty blonde hair with green eyes.

-Ben Brans: The quiet, yet fashionable, one in the band, black hair and green eyes.

-Bryson Sanders: The mature, yet humorous, one in the bad, droopy brown hair with dark brown eyes.

-Thomas Lance (AKA Tom): Ryleigh's boss, very hyperactive and very satisfied with life.
