im so bad at updating
*Jai's Point of View* 10PM
I figured I should write a quick note in case mum freaks out without asking Luke where I went first. I know she'll understand that I need Emma, though. I slipped on my favorite beanie and vans, the ones Justin Bieber signed...
I felt numb and nervous. Sydney was the fucking biggest city ever and she might be wandering around there, lonely. It's been 30 hours since I saw her leave on that train. I got in the car and turned the ignition. I hope there's a late night flight with just a seat open for me. I have to get to her before she gets hurt by someone.
I sped the entire way to the airport and parked in the closest spot. I'd never gotten here so quickly, it was 10:20. I tossed my backpack over my shoulder and went to the flight counter.
"Hi, sweetie." The lady said.
I sighed. "Hi, what's the next flight to Sydney? It's an emergency."
She just smiled and looked through her computer. She looked up at me with a bit of nerve when she came up with results. "There's a flight leaving in ten minutes, but you'll need to really run. I only have one ticket. It's at Terminal 32 in Concourse B. The next plane to Sydney doesn't leave until tomorrow morning."
"That's fine." I said quickly. "I'll take the ticket." I paid for it with the very little amount of money I had on my credit card I decided to get when Luke and I were the Janoskians.
She printed out the ticket and I bolted for security. Quickly walking through the metal detector, everything seemed to be going somewhat smoothly. After I'd put my shoes back on, I looked at the map. It was gigantic in the Melbourne airport.
The intercom went off. "Beginning to board: Flight 493 to Sydney, Australia. Departure at 10:35PM."
My heart raced. I was in Concourse C. I had a way to go, and I took off. All I had was my backpack, passing through all the people moving around. I looked at all the signs surrounding me. I was still in Concourse C...turn right and it's Concourse D. Okay, left then. I saw a massive sign stating "Concourse B." I sighed in relief.
"Boarding will soon be over for Flight 493. There are still some passengers missing for Flight 493. Please make your way to Terminal 32 in Concourse B." The intercom taunted me.
"Nonono." I muttered. I was passing Terminal 24, still running and getting nasty looks from the people in the airport. "I'm coming, Emma, I'm coming."
Terminal 32 was finally in my sights. There was still a few late people like myself in line to board. I got in the back, breathing a little heavily. I fixed my beanie and checked my phone. Still no reply from all my texts to her. Her. My love.
I finally looked at my ticket for the first time. Seat 6E. Looks like I'm in between two people. But towards the front at least. Great. Once I'd finally gotten to the front of the line, the stewardess scanned my ticket and I went to the plane. I found my seat, in the middle of two business looking guys. I sat there, shoving my backpack under the seat in front of me and closing my eyes. I felt a buzzing in my pocket, my phone. I didn't check to see the number, I could only hope it was Emma...
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey. Good luck out there mate." It was Beau.
"Thanks. I'll be back soon."
"Come back with her." He said the same thing as Luke. "Sara's sleeping but she's hopeful."
"I will, Beau. I'll call you guys later." I'd gotten texts from James and Skip too, wishing me luck. I got this.
