Part #4: An Awkward Lunch Secret

...

The 29th was spent rechecking suitcases, reading emails, confirming that my passport was in order, and talking to the other dancers to verify how real this whole thing actually was.

We met up at a cafe' and ate a late lunch on the outside patio.

"Here you go, shrimp pasta, Caesar salad with sweet potato fries, bacon burger and sweet potato fries, and lastly a crab ravioli with a margarita."

The food looked delicious and we had no problem digging in while we talked.

"I can't wait to actually talk to the boys," Bridget gushed when we started talking about our new lives.

"I know whatcha mean, but I'm afraid I'll be too star struck to even say anything," I confessed. "I mean this will be my very first time talking to celebrities and must I point out that I've been a huge fan of there's since like day one, well I wasn't there for TnT or This and That but I consider it like day one." I went on.

"It's not a big deal," Samantha said. "Just go in there like you're here to do a job, which in truth is what you're there to do. Show them respect and react to how they act around you. Treat it like they're in control of how the relationship blossoms, because they are," she continued all professionally.

The rest of us just sat in awe with the information, I could tell we were making mental notes of it.

"Well you sure have done this before," Bridget concluded.

Samantha then nodded and ventured in to tell us the war story of having done a music video with Trey Songs and the drama that went on with one of the other dancers. Apparently the other dancer nearly got the Dance company Sam works with sued because of her actions on and off set.

"Wow, lesson learned," said Latasha.

"So why was the company in jeopardy of being sued and not just her?" I asked being the newbie and not really understanding that part.

"Because the company had a contract with Trey and his people, not her individually," Samantha explained.

"Good to know," Bridget said in between fries.

"So do you two have any life stories or insights tips you can share with me?" I asked eager to hear more. I sipped on my Mojito that had just came to the table. Looking back and forth from Bridget and Latasha I saw a change occur. Bridget wasn't acting like she was only moments before my questions.

"Bridget wh--?" I asked.

"Okay guys I have a confession," she blurted out, I was hoping it wasn't a horrible story of her travels as a professional dancer. "Carnell messages me," she spat out quickly and shut her eyes as if afraid of our reactions.

"Well that's a relief," Samantha said, which confused me. "Because Dustin has been texting me."

"So I'm not the only one that's been getting messages," Latasha sighed in relief.

I still was confused.

"Wait the guys have been texting y'all?" I slowly uttered after putting the pieces together.

They happy expressions, dissipated when I questioned them.

"Yeah, you haven't?" Latasha replied.

"No."

They all eyed each other.

"No biggie," I say waving my hand about to show how little I cared about the matter, although it did kind of hurt that I was apart of the circle yet not at the same time. "So what kind of text are y'all getting?" I asked looking to feel a little apart of this, plus if I hadn't asked my curiosity would have nagged at me the rest of the lunch.

"Nothing really, just a congratulation message," Latasha said as if meant nothing.

"Yeah, and a hello, nothing too important, I'm shocked no one sent you one," Bridget went on, looking like she felt awkward.

"Yeah, one day I just received a congrats texted from an unknown number, turns out it was Patrick." Guilt and shock swept over Latasha's face after saying this. "He actually asked me not say anything."

"Me too, but I couldn't help it," Bridget chimed in.

Thinking about it I did see an unknown number call me, and I then told the girls about how I was getting so many congrats calls that I never called it back and after so many hours I avoided the option. The girls gave half hazard cheers of agreement but I knew they slightly doubted the information seeing as they had all gotten texts and I was called.

We changed topics after that and ended our night on a good note. Hugs were given and salutations received. Before we went our separate ways I gave them a reminder. "Guys I know I've said it before but you should really swing by the club tomorrow, it's under the name Vivian Jackson," they all looked at me strange, "what, I don't want the wannabes following my twitter feed to be there, I found out I have stalkers, trust me, they've approached me before."

"Ew," said Latasha.

"Yeah, ew," Bridget agreed.

"See y'all later, hopefully tomorrow," I laughed and went to my car.

Author's Notes:

Well how interesting?

Are the boys already stepping the boundaries of the contract before the tour even starts?

What about the girls by messaging the boys back have they set themselves up for dismissal from the tour?

Did one of the boys actually call Elisha or was it just another relative calling to say congratulations, or worse a wrong number?

How are you guys liking it so far?

Please comment!

Love you!

Post note:

Is this moving too fast for anyone?

Is it making sense as you reading on?
