Dipper couldn't sleep. His thoughts forced him to stay awake, making him wonder what his Grunkle Ford was keeping hidden in the 3rd journal, that he didn't want the others to know about. Ever since Stanford had come back to this dimension, he had kept the 3rd journal to himself, not letting the others see what lies in it. Tonight, Dipper knew, he had to look. Dipper tiptoed out of the attic, and carefully made his way to Fords room, because he knew, his grunkle always kept the journal lying on top of the dresser next to his bed. He entered Fords room, stopping in his tracks whenever he heard Ford shift in his sleep. Dipper carefully removed the journal from the dresser, and darted silently out of the room. When he re-entered the attic, he opened the journal and flipped through the pages he had looked through a thousand times in the past.
"I don't get it" Dipper said to himself, aggravated at what he found, which was nothing. "I thought there was another secret here. Another- what? What is this?"
Dipper found another page, a page he didn't recall reading before. He flipped the page, expecting to find a horrific creature, but it wasn't. It was a girl, just a girl. She looked to be around 30, she wore glasses, and, and, had 6 fingers on each hand. She wore a black robe, with a scarf, her face so beautiful, yet, so stern. She looked to have short, choppy brown and black hair, but in a stylish way. Dipper saw little writings next to her.
'Strength inhuman'
'Powers unimaginable'
'She's stuck there alone and its all my fault'
'Is she even alive?'
Dipper let those words sink into his brain. Who was this girl? And why was it Fords fault?
"Dipper?!" Dipper jumped, recognizing that voice. Stanford.
Ford walked over and snatched the journal from the young boys hands.
"What are you doing with this?? I told you, all of you, NOT to read this! And look what you did!" Ford hissed, in a whispered tone.
"I, I........" Dipper couldn't respond, he was too stunned of what he read.Ford slapped his forehead, sighing.
"we will deal with this in the morning." And with that, Ford left the attic, leaving Dipper with more questions than answers.
