Chapter 15

Jason's P.O.V

I looked at the screen with a shocked face. I knew I should have been allies with her! Sometimes I make the most stupid decisions. It's not that I regret being with Rachel, I mean she is a sweet girl that has cared for me, just like I cared for her, but Lilac should have been with us also. But she just HAD to be with Jett didn't she? I sighed and saw that Rachel was looking at me, eyes full of sympathy and sorrow. "Rachel, if you see them, you either kill them, or run away, ok?" I told her, and when I did, her eyes got wide. "I-I'm not sure I want to do that." She stuttered looking down. "I know it's hard, but believe me, I know." I said giving her a slight smile. She looked at me, and gave in, "Alright, I'll set up the traps." She got the traps from out of our backpack and began setting them up like a pro. "Since when did you learn how to build traps?" I asked her. "Oh, I practiced in the training center." She said shrugging as if it were no big deal. "Alright, let's go, we don't want to have them all in the same spot." I said leading the way and grabbing a backpack. Rachel nodded and followed me with traps in hand.

Mitch's P.O.V

Well, I see that Lilac also fell for Jett, what a coincidence. "Biggums, you ok?" Jerome asked me when my hand balled into a fist. "Yeah yeah, I'm fine." I said shaking in anger. I shook it off and looked down. "What do we do now? Should we kill her if we see her?" Jerome asked me, showing a hint of sadness. "I bet that's what Jason is planning too." I said leaning on a tree. "Probably." Jerome said playing with his axe. "Well then, that's what we'll do." I said looking at him. It took him a few seconds, but he nodded. I knew Jerome and Lilac were really good friends. They would always practice together in the training center, and they would compare their lives. I felt bad for him, but this is the hunger games, you either kill, or die.

Lilac's P.O.V

We separated and I was stunned, I always looked at Jett as a friend, but I never knew I'd fall for him. "You know what's funny?" I said looking at him. "What?" He asked me, getting some hair out of my face. "I always looked at you like an older brother." I said. "How?" He asked me raising an eyebrow. "Well, you always protected me, and, I never really had an older sibling, I've always been alone." I said turning to look up at the ceiling. "What about your younger brother and mother?" Jett asked me. "Well, I would leave my brother at home with my mother, and my mother would just sit in her bed and sulk." I said sadly. "Oh." Jett said in a sympathetic tone. "We'd better go out and hunt, we're running out of food." Jett said holding up his small knives. "Alright, but we have to be careful." I said standing up, and when I did, I forgot how cold it was. "Oh are you serious?" I said hugging myself. "I know." Jett said frowning, "This is what I have to put up with." "L-let's just go." I stuttered heading out into the cold.

-20 MINUTES LATER-

"What do you h-have?" I asked picking up the dead squirrel from the ground. "I have 2 ducks and 3 rabbits." Jett said stuffing his kill in a sack. Suddenly, the screen showed a team, and it looked like Adam, Dawn and Ty were together, sharing supplies. But I didn't get it, there was nothing going on, suddenly, I saw Dawn frozen there for a sec, and she fell to the ground, revealing a small knife in the back of her skull. DAWN BELASON: DEAD Ty and Adam looked at the ground in horror, and looked up to notice Maria who was hiding in a tree. The two of them grabbed their supplies and bolted from the scene. I saw Maria throw a knife at Ty, but it hit his arm, I saw him wince in pain, but he kept running, until they were out of sight. Before the screen turned black, Maria hit her fist on a tree, mad at herself for missing, and the screen turned black. "Well then, there are only 17 tributes left including us." Jett said looking at me, clueless. "It's going by slowly." I admitted. I remembered in one hunger games, it only lasted for 4 days, crowning it the fastest hunger games. "Well, what can we do? Some people just are good at hiding, or running." Jett said shrugging. "I guess." I said looking down. "What did you catch?" Jett asked me. "Oh, I got 4 squirrels, and 2 ducks." I said holding up my sack. "Good, I think that's enough." Jett said, but then we heard rustling in the trees. "Who's there?" I asked taking out my bow. Suddenly, Seto came out of nowhere and ran at me, who was too close to shoot. Before Seto's blade could touch me, Jett stabbed him in the side with a sword, leaving him dead on the ground. SETO HUDSON: DEAD (<-- Sorry, he just had to go). I saw Tiffany who was right behind him, run away into the forest, which meant they were probably Allies. "That was interesting." Jett said rubbing the blood off of the sword. "Let's just say, 16 tributes are left." I said putting my hands on my hip.

Sorry if it was short, well, it wasnt that short.
