Chapter 7

Skyler's POV

I didn't want to go school, I had classes with both of them. And now after I figured out what Ethan did, I wasn't planning to talk to him either. I got ready and called Ashley. We were walking to school together.

Once we got to school, I went to my locker, leaving Ashley at her locker. I was putting my things away and then someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around. It was Alex.
"Hey Alex" I said, smiling.
"Hey Skyer, what's up"
"Nothing really, it's school" i said, he smiled again.
"Well I just wanted to talk and make sure everything's okay. I didn't see you at the party after you left" he said. The memories hit me. I looked down.
"Oh I'm sorry about that, something came up and I had to go home" I lied.
"Oh ok, just making sure" I smiled again and turned to my locker.
"So I was thinking we should hang out sometime" he said. I turned around, he was blushing. Maybe this will be a good thing.
"I'd love to" I smiled.
I heard a loud bang, and then saw someone walking away. Grayson.

Grayson's POV

She was talking to him again. Why him, why now. I could hear them talking too, but I don't make it obvious, she didn't even notice me. She lied about the party, she's not fine and I know it. I miss her.
He asked her out, right in front of me. Fuck this. I punched a locker and walked away. People were staring. I could feel Sky's eyes on me. How can she do this to me. She can't just move on like that.
Someone grabbed my hand. I turned around, Morgan.
"Hey Gray!"
"Don't call me that, it's Grayson" I'm not letting her think we're friends. She moved her hand up my arm.
"Oh I'm so sorry baby, it's just that....we didn't finish what we started that night" she looked up at me and smiled. I gave her look and backed up. Not this shit.
"I'm not doing shit with you, get away" she got closer and grabbed my shirt.
"Oh Grayson, that's not what you were planning at the party though" I pushed her away. Im not dealing with this.
"Listen here, you're fucking ruining everything, again I don't want anything with you, okay?" I started walking away.
"Gray!! Aw babe, where you going!!" She yelled and I turned around to opened my mouth to say something but I froze. Skyler. She was death staring Morgan. Morgan turned around and saw Skyer.
"Ok look who's here" she said, giggling. Skyler didn't say anything. I just wanted to talk to her.

Skyer's POV

"Gray! Awe babe, where you going!" Morgan. Oh what now. I turned down the hallway, and saw her. I saw Grayson, he looked pissed, but calmed down when he saw me. I miss him.
"Oh look who's here" she said, I turned to her.
"Wow, I can't believe I'm facing this slut again" I said walking up to her.
"Sorry honey, but your man made the first move" I looked at Grayson. He looked at me with pain. He walked up to us.
"Skyler please let me explain-" "save it" I interrupted him. "I have a bitch to deal with"
"Bitch try me" Morgan said, getting closer. I couldn't take it. I pushed her against the lockers and pulled her hair. She tried to fight back but fell. Grayson pulled my arm and made me face him.
"Sky please stop" he said, looking at me with glassy eyes. Is he crying? I calmed down and stood up straight. Grayson grabbed my arm and dragged me to a closet.
"Grayson, not this again" I said, pulling away from his grasp. He turned around.
"Skyler please, let me talk" I looked up at him, I nodded. He took a deep breath.
"Listen Sky, I know what I did was bad. I don't know what happened. I saw you talking to that guy and I just got mad. I know it was fucked up, but Sky you mean so much to me" he took my hand. I looked away.
"Sky please don't be like this" his voice was shaking. I didn't want to look up, I don't want to cry.
"Grayson, you hurt me" I choked, I felt tears. "You said you wanted us" a tear escaped down my cheek. He took his hand and wiped the tear. "Of course I do, I've always wanted us.. ever since I saw you" I looked up at him. "Sky you're the best thing that has happened to me ever since I got here."
"I don't know if I can trust you again" I whispered. He held my face with both of his hands.
"Sky please, give me another chance, I promise I won't hurt you again" his voice cracked. I looked up at him. I could see pain in his eyes, he looked exhausted. I took his hands his pushing them. Tears were streaming my face.
"I'm sorry Grayson, I just can't" I walked out. I didn't want to get hurt again. I didn't want him to be just another guy. It hurt leaving like that.
