"Sidney wake up....come on its morning. Time for school." mom said Sydney rolled on her side to see her clock said 6:00am. she sat up "Mom, aren't you supposed to be in bed like the doctor said?" Sydney asked.
"Yes. I just miss waking you up in the morning." Her mother said, Her eyes becoming glossy. Sydney hated seeing her mom cry, She could feel her own tears forming, but she pushed it away, Faking a smile.
Sydney asked her mom to please get out of her room so she could get dressed. Her mom obliged sadly and opened the door, Stopping half way to think, But continued only seconds later. As she walked out of the room, Sydney could hear the faint sound of her mom's quiet cries.
When she knew her mom wasn't anywhere close anymore, Sydney sat down on the ground and released the tears she was holding in.
She remembered when she found her mom on the ground shaking. She remembered frantically dialling 9-1-1 while sobbing and doing her best to care for her mom until the paramedics arrived, She tried, Considering she was only 10 when it happened.
Once the paramedics arrived, She was taken to the hospital. That was the day they had found out that Sydney's mother had type 2 diabetes. and they went home and mom has to take medication so she stop thinking about it and got dressed. She grabbed her bag and went to school and the bell rang she sat down at her seat and listen to the techer she was in math class her lest favorite class she had a D+ in that class so the techer passed out the papers from there tests and surprisingly she had a b- so as she was having a happy day she walked into science class then she seat down then a police officers walked in and she got a little scared then the teacher called
Her up and told her to go with the police officer and all of the kids were talking amongs themselves saying things like I think that she did something wrong and shes a freak,they forgot something ugly im not perfect at all wewalked out of the door I went to my locker and got my stuff then my sketch book fell out It had a hole bunch of drawings in it so I picked it up then we walked to the car as I sat in the back of the car and looked out the window and it was beautiful the sky the trees and I feel asleep then I feel a shake on my arm and I woke up and I walked out side and I was at the hospital? Why was I at the hospital I walked inside and then I though mom is she ok ?
