It's raining and I'm trying to get to sleep. My name is Lizzy and I'm 18. I live in a small apartment by myself. I'm an only child and my mother and father died when I was young so I don't remember them that well.
I twist and turn in my bed trying not to think about it, but the moon is so bright that it shines through my curtains straight onto my face. That didn't last for long though as a shadow appeared covering the moon's bright glow. Then a knock on the window screen which startles me. I open my eyes to take a peep.
"What on earth is that? Who could be knocking at my window this late at night??" I said with a frazzled look. I got up from my bed to the screen of the window to see a Young guy who looked around my age sitting near the window in the rain. He seemed lost and was quite good looking. He had short black hair with a side fringe, wearing a red and black checkard shirt with jeans with sneakers and holding an a guitar in the shape of an axe. That was pretty cool I thought, so I decided to go and see if he needed some help. "Poor guy." I say as I open the front door. "Hello!?? Is there someone out there?" A shadowy figure approaches me, the same one from the window. It gets closer and closer into the light to reveal the young guy I saw earlier sitting near the window.
"Oh,its just you." I say to him. "Uh yeah its me..? Anyways, sorry if I freaked you out earlier. I was just looking for a place to stay for the night and I have no money so I couldn't get into a hotel." His voice is so soft but harsh in some way that I couldn't understand. "Uh you can stay here if you want." Ugh, why did I just say that! I don't even know this cute stranger and I'm inviting him to stay at my house for the night? "Oh really? Well thanks. I'll uh, just make up a space over here then." He said with a nervous sounding laugh. "The name's Marshall by the way... Marshall-lee. But you can just call me Marshall." "Okay, well I'm Lizzy and if you want I'm gonna go and get you a towel because you are soaking wet from all that rain outside." Hmm.. There's something different about that boy...
That's it! Hope you liked it and if so then don't worry cause I'll be posting part 2 of the story soon enough. Thanks for reading and check back soon for more!😀
