Chapter 22

Kion said" Sage who is "he?"

Sage sighed. She said"Your son". Kion said"my son?" She nodded. Kion said" wow!" Kion was so excited he pinned Sage without even remembering. She groaned. Kion got off of her quickly. He said" Sorry Sage". "Its okay please Kion just be careful". Kion said" can you sleep?" "I can try but maybe not that much". They both went to sleep and waited for tomorrow morning.

In the morning Sage got up to find Kion in front of her causing her to gasp then her eyes went big as she was holding her stomach and gasping. Kion looked at her. He said" Sage I am really sorry I didn't mean to scare you". "Its okay Kion". She said as she licked his cheek. Sage said" what do we do now?" Wait Kion I'll be right back I forgot something in the jungle for you". "Okay then".

As Sage was in the jungle, she felt that something was following her. She turned around to find a female lioness cub in a pinning stance as she ran after Sage and pinned her down as she groaned of her stomach. The female cub was growling. She said", WHO ARE YOU?" She said growling at her. Sage said all shaky, "I'm Sage Kion's mate?" The cub said" KION YOU SAY?" Sage said" yeah why"? "He is my brother!!!" Sage said"ughh like I should believe you!!" Little did they notice that Kion was watching over them. Kion came out and then just a attacked Sage and pinned her down causing her to yelp. Then Kion said"Sorry Sage, why did you attack her?" Sage said"Kion, didn't you see that she attacked me"? "Sage I saw that but she is my long-lost sister", Kion's sister's name is Queby. She had golden fur with a hair tuft on the top. She came and nuzzled Kion. He got off of Sage and nuzzled her back. Sage slowly got up and moaned a little bit. She said" Kion are you getting the point , she attacked me and you don't do anything about it, what kind of mate does that to his other mate??!! Kion said" well I was just protecting my sister now are you satisfied"? Sage said" no just disappointed". "Ugh Sage your starting to sound like Kiara when she gets me mad". "Well good at least one of us does". Kion got really mad. He said" wow Sage are you serious whats wrong with you and I hope you know that you are not even part of the pride now just leave me alone, come on Queby let's go". Sage said", FINE BE LIKE THAT!!!" She said as she stormed away with tears dripping down slowly from her eyes.

As she was walking she found a tree and sat by there sleeping. Then out of nowhere Janja came and tackled her. He said" ohhh looks like I have some lunch to eat yum!" He said as Sage screamed.

While Kion was walking with his sister she said"wow Kion you yelled at her badly that was good and I really missed you". She said nuzzling him. "I missed you too and now I feel really bad that I yelled at her I can't believe I did that. You just came out of nowhere then attacked her when she has a cub in her stomach when she didn't even do anything wrong". Queby looked shocked. She said" Kion you did the right thing now she is out of your sight let's go ho"- she was cut off while they both heard screaming from where Sage was. Kion said" Queby stay here I'll be back". "Okay". Queby called out.

As Kion raced into the woods, he saw Janja pinning Sage. He got into a hunting stance and then pushed Janja out of the way then he fell off of the cliff while they were at the edge.

Sage slowly got up and said" why would you come and save me?" Kion said" because I love you and I really care about you, and I didn't mean to say anything of what I said before". Sage said", really cause it looks like you really meant it?" "Well does this look like I'm lying?" He walked up to Sage and then kissed her. Her eyes wide open and blushing. She said"no"... "Okay good now let's head back".

As they headed back Queby was there waiting for Kion as Kion said", Queby I think you should apologize to her". Queby let out a sigh and said" fine, I'm sorry Sage, I thought you were a harm but now I realize that you are not". Sage said" its okay and trust me I'm no harm at all". They all laughed.

As they were at pride rock, Kion walked up to his dad and when he did Simba saw Queby along side of him. He said" Queby, is that you??!!" She said" yes it is me dad". They all hugged and then were shocked and had a fun time. He said" where were you and who found you?" She said, well Sage found me and if it weren't for her I wouldn't be here with you guys".Simba gave Sage a hug and said" thank you Sage", "Your welcome". She replied with a big smile.

As it was getting dark everyone went to bed sleeping peacefully with nice dreams in their heads. Kion nuzzled Sage and the felt something kick him as it was Sage's stomach. He let out a small smile and thought"wow for once she can sleep with no interruptions". He went back to sleep and just waited until tomorrow morning.
