Introduction:
Hi, I'm Jessica. I'm a 17 year old girl and my life has been great ever since now. It was on Friday, June 5th, of 2015 when my life started to change. It was on that Friday when my best friend Blaire Ollington disappeared...
Chapter 1:
It was Thursday, June 4th and me and Blaire were sitting on my bed laughing and talking as we always did. "He is so cute!" cried Blaire. "Who is?" I asked, eager to know who she was talking about. "Jason is!" she replied. Jason was the most popular boy in our school. Everybody loved him and thought that he was really cute, except me. I had a bad feeling about him. "Uhg, you're still crushing on him?," I said to Blaire. "Heck yeah!" She replied. Every girl in our school has had a crush on him since the 9th grade. They're frickin obsessed with him. "So...you wanna stay over for dinner," I asked. Blair replied with a simple nod. Later that night Blair went home and I went to bed at 9 pm as I usually did. The next morning I woke up, got ready for school and went downstairs to eat breakfast. "Morning Mom," I said. "Good morning sweetheart," she replied. "Did you sleep well?" asked my mom. "Yeah," I replied as I finished my toast, grabbed my bag and headed toward the door. As I opened the door my mom said "Bye Jessica!" "Bye!" I replied as I ran out the door and hopped onto my bike. I rode my bike all the way to school and put in on the bike rack. Then I took my helmet off and walked inside.
People were talking as usual and couples were doing their daily morning makeout sessions. I walked to my locker and when I was about to get there Maggie, my other friend, pops out of nowhere and starts yelling in my face about some crazy nonsense I don't understand. "Whoah! Maggie slow down!" I yelled over her voice. She immediately stopped and looked down. She's the kind of person to do this. She's very...obedient. "I'm sorry," she whispered, "it's just that, Blaire isn't here...she's an hour later than usual I tried calling her but she won't answer! I tried 4 times!" She's also kind of nuts as you can probably tell. "Uhm...maybe she's just late." I said quietly. Maggie replied, "but she's never late and you know that!" She was right. Blaire was never late. The bell rang and we went to class as I walked there I just hoped that Blaire would be sitting in her seat already. But she wasn't and she wasn't there for the rest of the classes we had together either. I started to panic...Blaire was never absent. And I mean NEVER.
