Your POV
"I'm not marrying you, Zane!" You screamed at him.
"WELL I WANT TO BE THE LORD MY BROTHER NEVER WILL BE AND THIS IS GETTING ME CLOSER TO IT!" Zane said.
"Zane......what happened........we were kids and we would play and have fun.....now this. Why cant we just play like we did with Garroth when were younger?" You said.
"Why do you care so much about Garroth?!" He said with a hint of jealousy in his voice.
"He's your brother, you should care!"
"FINE IF YOU WONT MARRY ME THEN......UGH! IM SORRY!" You could tell the strain and stress in his voice.
"Z-Zane....." You left realizing if you said anything more, your friendship would be ruined.
You packed your backpack up with your things and left Zane a note, it read:
Dear Zane,
I can't deal with your corrupt side. We're best friends and I'm not marrying you and I can't live with someone I feel like I don't even know anymore. I'll return and if you think it takes me long I know you'll go looking after me..........your my best friend Zane and I can't and never could ask for more. I'll see you soon.

I cried as I wrote that note. I set off on this boat I crafted. I love you Zane (as friends.....for now 😉 xD)

I came across a village...... I went in and there came the Lord named Aphmau. She welcomed me inside. I accepted and she called over a guard to show me around. He took off his helmet since he wasn't on patrol anymore.
I looked at him.........I know him.....nah, that couldn't be him! His blue eyes and blonde hair.
He looked at me then looked at his shoes blushing.
"H-Hi I'm G-G-Garroth head guard of Phoenix Drop. C-Can you tell m-me about yourself?" The guard named Garroth asked.
"Well I'm (y/n) and I used to live in O'Khasis with my two best friends Zane and G-Garroth.......he looked just like you. I left there because Zane my best friend became corrupt. I knew why so I stayed by his side. Yet today was different, he was trying to force me to marry him. So I left, as much as it broke my heart." You said a bit of teas forming in your eyes, but unnoticeable because you were wearing a hood so no one in O'Khasis would catch you leaving.
"Ummmm I'm that Garroth, Z-Zane my brother and you......." Said Garroth
I hugged him and basically tackled him to the ground as he blushed like mad. We got up.
"Z-Zane tried to force you to marry him? Why....ugh.......baby brother why?" He mumbled the last part.
"It's quite alright, I know why he's done this and it doesn't bug me."
"Y-You know....go see Aphmau and tell her" he said a little hope in his voice.
"I-I can't.....I can't do that to Zane it will change everything"
"YOU MUST!" He had and outburst.
"What's wrong?!?" Aphmau came over to us, sounding worried.
"SHE KNOWS WHY ZANE DID THIS!" He basically screamed.
"Can I talk to you?" Aphmau asked me.
I nodded.
She told me what Zane has done to them.....that can't be true......I was crying at the end. She hugged me and tried calming me down.
"H-He did this because h-he's jealous of G-Garroth......he g-gets to live w-with f-friends and everything w-when Zane o-only has m-me and the only person who doesn't talk t-to him about Garroth I-is me.....but w-when I do h-he gets j-jealous." I said crying a bit.l and stuttering.
"Here, rest in that tree, the largest and tallest one. You've had a long day. But before you go please tell me your past." She asked sweetly and caring.
I told her everything like Me, Zane and Garroth being best friends and how I knew this one girl who was my best friend and was the sweetest but I never got her name. And about Zane being corrupt and him trying to marry me.
She took me to Garroth and told him to bring me to the tree and guard over there.
I went to sleep on one of the beds....its been awhile with a goodnight a sleep. I miss it.
Garroth's POV
I watched (y/n) she looked so peaceful. She then started squirming in her sleep and I saw tears roll down her cheeks. I went over to her and laid her head down on my lap. I stroked her hair and she seemed to calm down. I put my hand on her cheek, wiping off the tears. I was about to get up when she yanked me down and snuggled my arm. I kissed her forehead and rested my head on the wall next to her bed, still sitting and drifting to sleep.
