*i'm writing this from a guys point of view, but if you want to read it as if it was from a girl's point of view, go ahead!*

There she was, the one with the most beautiful eyes the world has ever seen. When she smiles, they glow brighter than the stars at night. I was sitting there in a small coffee shop around the corner from where I live when I saw her. She was stressed, you could tell by the way her hands were shaking as she went to pay. I wanted to go up and pay for her, but who was I to force my way into her life?
I needed a better way to prove I'm worthy of being in her life. You know, she probably didn't think she was beautiful. She had a slight scar upon her face, her veins were noticeable through her porcelain skin, and her face showed no emotion. I wish I could make her happy, you know?
I know, I'm insane. Falling for a girl I've seen once. But, it's destiny. I was meant to be at that coffee shop, falling for you with those gorgeous eyes. You don't know it but I'm falling for you. I think you're prettier than a glistening sunset on a cool summer night. But, I don't want to love you because you're beautiful. I want to love you because you're you.
I sat in the coffee shop on that Tuesday afternoon, watching you sit down carefully scanning the room. Our eyes met, but you quickly looked away. Why was that will you tell me? I guess I'd never know. I got up, I got up and walked over to you.
"Is this seat taken?" I asked, hopefully with a friendly smile upon my face. You didn't open your mouth, just shook your head no. I sat down across from you, taking a sip of my coffee.
"How are you?" I said calmly, I didn't want to scare you off. You just shrugged your shoulders, assuming you weren't the best, but you were okay.
"That's good. I think it's good to not be your best, but be okay because when you finally are completely happy you know what caused that. Whether you listened to a song, and that made you happy, or read a book and that made you smile. You'll know." You looked me in the eyes, and smiled. What a contagious smile you have. Two strangers, sitting in a coffee shop on a Tuesday afternoon making each other smile.
