John had admitted his love, but he could not say the words he new Sherlock was dying to hear, his throat burning as he wanted to please Sherlock, but his body would not let him.
Finally he croaked.
"Sherlock I am gay for you"
Sherlocks face lit up with a new sense of happiness, John had not seen this smile from Sherlock before but he wanted to see more of it.
"As am I for you" replied sherlock with the element of the holistic joy in his voice.
John felt more comfortable and relaxed after he admitted his sexuality to Sherlock.
But the relaxed feeling didn't stay for long he knew it would be leaked one day they couldn't hide it. John said alound "should we go public"
Sherlock leapt out of his seat "yes we should splendid idea my dear Watson" he said "I shall release a statement first thing tomorrow morning" he announced.
"No oh no Sherlock I shall release this we don't want you making this a problem it's going to be hard enough" John told Sherlock.
"Right you are" he agreed " I am of too bed he winked at Sherlock and left the room.
John did not know if he was ready for this yet so he went of to his own bed only to feel Sherlock slip under the quilt an hour or so later John just hugged him close until they both drifted off.
