With the Super Bowl last weekend, the official end of the season party at my grandpas house has officially arrived. Though we didn't make it to SB50, it's still fun to have a final get together before all of the players part ways until training camp next season. The party is nothing formal, just a time for everyone to bond a bit and bring their families around to have some fun.

I got out of bed on this beautiful Saturday morning and took a nice hot shower. When I was done, I wrapped my towel around me before washing my face and going into my room. I changed into a long t-shirt and laying out my clothes for the party. I then skipped my way downstairs and ate a large bowl of fruit and drank a protein shake with it for my breakfast.

After putting on sweatpants, I grabbed my keys and went out to my drive way and drove to the car wash. My baby was a tad dirty from the recent snowfall, so I felt like today would be a perfect day to get her cleaned up. Not to mention all of my dads friends are going to be at the party, so I have to be a presentable young lady for him.

When I pulled up. I got out of my car and walked over to the little coin machine so that I could get change for my $5. I kept sticking it in and the machine would not take it. I tried the other 3 coin machines and it still wouldn't work. I looked inside of my wallet and all I had was a $50 dollar bill left and I was definitely not breaking that into quarters.

"Need help?" A man said causing me to jump.

"Jimmy, don't do that. I almost died." I said holding my chest.

"Sorry. I've just been watching you struggle so I thought I'd help." He laughed.

"Please..." I said handing him the money.

"So, what's a girl like you doing at a car wash?"

"Oh shut up, you know I love my cars." I said hitting him.

"No but for real. Why aren't you in the automatic one where it does it for you? I'm sure that one would take your $5." He asked.

"It doesn't clean as good as I can."

"True. Very true, but here." He said as $5 worth of quarters came out of the machine.

"Thanks Jim." I said grabbing the hand full.

"Anytime. But hey, you owe me tonight for this. I expect a few beers coming from you." He said pointing at me as he walked away.

"Will do." I laughed as I shook my head.

I smiled to myself just thinking about tonight. This will be the first time I'll actually see Rob since that night in the locker room. I don't know what it was about that night, but I felt relieved. Giving him back his bracelet left me feeling free and like a weight was lifted off my back. The feeling of not being attached to someone for once. Now, I just feel wild and free like I did in high school and college. Willing to break the rules, try new things, yet still be overly emotional when it's really not necessary. With that being said, the only reason why I'm excited to see Rob tonight is to show him how fun I can be without him. Show him what he's missing. To let him know that he really messed up and that I'm not coming back into his life no matter how much I miss seeing his face. I'd rather suffer myself and see him go through the same thing than to suffer and know he doesn't really car. But I can hide it well and still have a good time and maybe get drunk tonight and then go home and cry about it like I use to every weekend in high school.

After running a few errands, it was around 5 o'clock when I got home and it was time for me to get dressed and leave. I put on my makeup and took my hair out of the french braid it was in so now it's long and wavy. I put my clothes on and put food and water in Mikes bowl before kissing him good bye and leaving him once again. I feel bad when I leave him. He's always alone or at my dads house, but he never sees me which makes me sad.
