Percy POV
I wake up when my alarm goes off, waking up Annabeth too. "Go back to sleep," I coo, remembering she is staying home today. "I'll let you know when I'm leaving," I say, laying her small body back onto the bed. Her eyes close and I smile down at her.
I put on blue jeans with a blue shirt that has the words, 'Doctor said no homework' on it. Quickly, I brush through my hair and spray on cologne that smells a little like a manly beach.
After going downstairs, I make eggs and pancakes with chocolate covered strawberries for Annabeth and I. I put her's in the fridge after eating mine and go back upstairs to wake her up.
I shake her shoulders gently, "Annabeth." Her grey eyes open and at first she is startled to see me standing so close over her, but relaxes a second later. "Hey, I'm leaving okay?" I inform her. "Okay," she says. I smile, "See you in a little while. Be sure to call me if you need something," I state like a father. She smile and nods.
I wave and walk out the door, downstairs, and wait at the bus stop.
