Unknown Number

Part 4

I put my phone away and grab my sweater and headed out.  I walk to the coffee shop where Erick and I always meet before we go to work.

"Hey Erick"

"Oh hey (y/n), how was your morning?" Erick said in a tiredly voice, giving me my food he order for me.

"It was good, until this guy started messaging me various times"

"Your new boyfriend?" He said with food in his mouth

"No, it's some guy I started talking. Someone gave him my number and he texted me saying that I gave it to him and we had a conversation in how it wasn't me who gave it to him, and today we had a tiny conversation and I got to know a little about him." I said to Erick

"Sounds funny" he said still eating his food

"It's not, how was your morning Erick? I said taking the first bite of my food

"It was tiring like always, had to work around the house and come running here"

"I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you, what if after work we go to see a movie?"

"If I'm not tired" he said continuing eating his food

We ate in silence till he announced the time and said it was time to go to work.
