Chapter 4

Danni's P.O.V

When I woke up the next morning I done my usual routine. When I was finished my shower, I picked out my clothes and dried off. I chose a pair of pale blue high-waist jeans, my white skull top with 'Be true to yourself' in a banner wrapping around the skull, a black beanie, grey ankle converse and a black hoodie. I got dressed and dried my hair. I curled it when it was dried then done my make-up. ''Danni your friends are here'' Kieron said. ''Send them up to me? I'm nearly ready'' I said, doing my mascara. Daniel and Laura came in and Laura ran straight to my purple spiny-chair where my iMac was and Daniel sat on one of my bean-bags. ''What are we doing today?'' Laura asked, spinning around on the chair. ''Some of my family's coming over from Ireland for a barbecue and some live like a 20 minute drive from here, Laura I know you'll stay for the barbecue, Daniel do you wanna stay?'' I asked. ''Yeah sure, I-'' ''Danni, everyones here come on down, I invited Daniel and his mam as well'' My mam shouted up to us.

''Danni, you've grown up so much since the last time I seen you'' My aunt Aoibeann said. ''Aoibeann, the last time you seen me I was 2, I'm 16 now'' I said, fixing my beanie. ''Look Aoibeann, I have to go, my friends are waiting for me'' I added, grabbing 3 cans of RedBull and walked over to Daniel and Laura, handing them the drinks. ''I have to go guys, I'll see you tomorrow'' Laura said. I seen my  younger cousins Zoe and Layla came running over to Daniel and I. ''Danni can you play tonight? Like you always do when we had barbecues back in Ireland?'' the youngest one, Zoe said. ''Yeah, I'll grab my guitar and play in awhile'' I smiled. ''Is this your boyfriend?'' Layla asked. ''No, we're best friends Lay'' I said. ''Why aren't you together?'' Zoe and Layla said in unison. ''We only met like 2 days ago girls'' I said quickly. ''So? You only knew Jordan a day and got with him'' Zoe said. ''No I knew Jordan 2 years before I got with him a day, I was with him a day when yous met him'' I said, Daniel was just awkwardly standing there. ''Ahh Danni! How are ye? I've missed you me oul flower'' I heard my aunt Cathy say from behind me. ''Cathy I've missed you!'' I said hugging her. ''Will you stop growing? The height of ye now'' she laughed. ''I've missed you Cathy'' I laughed. ''And who's this handsome fella I've never met?'' Cathy said. ''Im Daniel, nice to meet you'' Daniel said. ''Taller than you, blondish hair, english, your perfect boyfriend Danni'' Cathy said. ''We're best friends'' I said. ''You gonna keep the tradition?'' Cathy asked. ''Yeah, the guitars upstairs'' I said.

''Everyone shush!!! Danni's about to play'' My uncle Ethan shouted. ''Go Danni!!'' my aunt Cathy shouted when everyone was silent, we all laughed. ''Okay, Danni you ready?'' My mam said. I nodded my head and began playing 'Glad You Came' by The Wanted.

The sun goes down

The stars come out

And all that counts

Is here and now
