Avery POV
I explained to Kyle about what the rogue said, suddenly the beta, Chris ran in. "Some weird looking wolves heading towards to castle and there's a lot of them" Chris said, out of breath. Kyle and I ran outside to see what's going some wolves were running towards us. "Hybrids" I whispered, Kyle's head snapped to me "how can you be certain" he whispered back, "I've never seen or heard about wolves like this have u"? He shook is head no after a minute the hybrids was right in front of us growling. I growled back lightly shifting a stood in front of my mate growling. Instead of them running for the hills, they moved forward. One hybrid jumped at me and I jumped at it to, taking my claws ripping it's head off it the process. The others decided to attack me all at once. They charged at me, I ducked a few blows. I haven't told Kyle this yet but I'm pregnant with his pups, if I told him, he wouldn't be letting me fight right now. A few hybrids scratched me deep but it wasn't on the stomach. Suddenly one jumped and scratched my stomach, it wasn't deep enough to reach my unborn baby, at least I hope. I finally used my powers and made them drown from the inside, and the rest died due to drowning. I whined as I fell, the scratches are starting to hurt now, the last image I had was Kyle running towards me then everything turned black.
