Lane's POV-

I hopped down the stairs and walked into the living room where my flat mate cuddled with a fluffy blanket "hey I'm going on surf watch duty" I saw grabbing my coat and slipping it on.

"Who goes surfing in the middle of winter especially when there's pieces of ice every where?" He asked with a confused look.

"I don't know dude, I don't know" and with that I ran down to the beach by the harbor.

I walked very slowly but then ran when I saw a girl about my age with waist length bright pink hair, she was laying down on her stomach I flipped her over and checked her pulse, no pulse, and no rise and fall of her chest.

I plugged her nose and put my ear to her mouth no breathe, I flicked her on the head, then her eyes fluttered open ," wow it actually worked.... I mean of course it work" I said to myself tilting my head at the girl.

She jumped up and put her hand out "Nanashi" she said, I shook her hand "Lane" she nodded then tried to get back in the water but I grabbed her wrist, and she turned around "let go" she said shaking her arm "you just about died from the coldness.. Actually you were dead until I found you" I stated she giggled,

"Silly boy" she said flicking my forehead "silly,silly" she added shaking her head, I looked at her like she was crazy...wait she is "erm...what's wrong with you" I asked letting go of her wrist.

"I have to get back to the water" she said pointing out towards the sea, "how bought I take you to an asylum?" I asked.

She tilted her head " If I take you to an indoor pool will you go home and forget about going back in there" she tilted her head more "water?" She asked "water" I replied.

We walked to a indoor pool not too far from the harbor luckily no one was there because If anyone saw me that knew me I would be fired.
