~♤CHARU♤~

"What's wrong with her?"

Every student whispered among themselves in hushed voices, eyeing the girl that swiftly moved past them warily.

Charu sat on her desk, her sky blue hair swirling together with the light morning breeze. She was oblivious to the weird stares that she was given.

After all, she was used to it.

"Stay away from her." Harsh warnings echoed from the classroom as pupils nervously settled onto their seats. "She's a monster."

Charu lowered her eyes. She opened her bag and took out her textbooks. The teacher entered the classroom, and the room became quiet.

For Charu, her days in school had always been like this. People avoiding her every single time, their faces filled with disgust and hatred. Yet the blue-haired girl had always been ignoring them, continuing her normal school life that shouldn't even be normal.

"We have a new student," the teacher announced. "I hope you would be nice to him."

Everyone gaped at the new dashing boy, half of the girls swooning at him. Charu arched an eyebrow, resisting a yawn. To her, he looks terribly terrible.

"Meet," the teacher took in a sharp breath as if to force the words out of her.

"...Thew-thew."

Charu was pretty sure the whole class turned to stone upon hearing his name. For a boy that everyone seemed to like, he had a weird ass name.

He had a devilish smirk slapped on his lips, his hazel eyes partially covered by his brown bangs.

"Now," the teacher coughed. "T...thew-thew, please sit..."

Everyone screamed for him to sit with them. Charu was unfazed.

"...beside her."

Another girl, supposedly called Tara, screamed in delight as she waved her hands wildly in excitement. Thew-thew walked towards her, and sat by her side. Almost immediately, Tara began batting her eyelashes at her.

Charu paid no attention, and diverted her focus back to the boring lesson.

By the time it was recess, nearly the whole class had crowded around the new kid, tempted to know more about him. Instantly, he became popular, and was the center of the level's topic.

Charu walked out of her room, slipping through the half-crazed girls that were still struggling to touch his arm for some reason.

She slowly made her way up to the roof of her school, which was perhaps the only place that the school actually had some peace and quiet. Her fingers twitched as she stood on the rim of the roof, the wind fluttering the uniform's ribbon.

A voice sounded behind her.

"...you have potential."

Charu gazed into cloudy skies. She felt Thew-thew's footsteps walking towards her, reaching closer and closer.

Charu settled on the rim of the roof, her legs dangling out of the building. The boy grinned.

"...Care to join something?"

Charu's eyes rolled to Thew-thew. "...tch. You're annoying."

Thew-thew was oblivious to her. "An organisation. Something that only people such like you who have this high potential can be admitted into. Come join us."

Charu stood up, and so did Thew-thew. Her face was smiling, but she seemed tired, brimming with scorn and mocking looks.

"What the crap. I don't get this. This is all fake. Every. Damn. Person."

Thew-thew only smiled as he neared Charu. "I knew it. You do have potential."

Charu was emotionless. "This fake world that I have been living in, with only illusions misguiding me. Every single person. Everything here is so fake."

Thew-thew was smiling so wide he began to look creepy. "Yes. Yes!"

Charu finally managed a faint smile. "Yes. Its all fake." She leaned backwards. "Everything is."

All she saw was Thew-thew's horrified face before she lost her footing and tumbled down the building. She smirked as she soared down the sky and towards the ground.

"The world is all fake. Where's...

...the real one?"
