Lillian wasn’t pay any attention in class since she was to busy in her own head. She wonders what kind of wedding she'll have. She knows it wont be a big wedding, she never wanted a big wedding but she imagine having a big yard wedding with lilac as a main color. She couldn't help herself be excited. She wonders what kind of dress her dress will be. The normal puffy? No, it'll be hot outside by since and she wants something comfortable. So maybe an A-line dress? Maybe it be sheath to.
She could just imagine Zane being almost three and in his cute little tuxedo on him.
She felt the person next to her grab her arm and shake her awake, “Lillian, wake up!”
She jerked and looked up from her book to see most of the class looking at her. She blushed when she realized her teacher been calling on her to answer a question.
“Sorry.”, Lillian said shyly.
…
Lillian walked over to Ryan table and all his friends looked excited as they hit and look like they were congratulating Ryan as she walked towards them. Ryan looked up at her when she was a few feet away and she turned away when all his friends looked at her.
She was ready to walk away, knowing this couldn't be no good.
But two of Ryan's friends got up and grabbed her, pulling her over towards Ryan.
“We heard the exciting news.”, Max said. “You guys are just so quick.”
“By what this idiot means, we're excited and happy for you both”, Dillon said.
“You guys never let me finished.”, Ryan said. “You guys are acting like we're getting married this summer?”
“Your not?”, Kurt asked, confused. “Why not?”
“A wedding takes time to plan and not to mention money.”, Lillian said. “A year and half would be enough time and we'll both be graduates.”
“Well I call being best man.”, Max said and all of Ryans friends starting arguing about who's going to be best man, making Lillian and Ryan laugh at them.
…
“So your actually going to do it.”, Duncan said as he looked down at the ring on her finger on.
Lillian pulled her hand away and blushed, “It wont be until I graduate.”, she said though she felt like she didn't need to explain herself.
“I think it's to early.”, Duncan said and she looked up at him confused. He cleared his throat, “I just mean, Lillian, you didn't feel any perssure into saying yes? I mean, who proposes while having someone else they that they hate?”
“Ryan really was going to propose to me.”, Lillian said, putting her defenses up. “The sooner the better.”
“Oh come on, Lillian.”, Duncan snorted and the librarian hissd them to be quiet. She had talked to Ryan yesterday about studying again and suggested they could go back to the library where other people are around.
Lillian sighed and adjusting herself in her seat, looking back down at her notebook, “I don't want to talk about this, Duncan. It's my life.”
“Your to young to get married though.”, he said.
Her head snapped up to look at him, “I was to young to become a mother and I think I'm doing a pretty good job.”
“Lillian, that's not what I meant.”, he said. “Most teen marriages end up in divorce, you should be smarter then this.”
“Like what?”, she asked, her voice hard. “Ryan and I will be fine and if we do—divorce, well, we at least tried. I don't care what you think, Duncan.”, she said, closing her notebook and grabbed her bag. “If your just going to be judgmental towards me, I'll just lea--”
