Laying in the water,
Her eyes closed.
Crimson surrounds her,
The water continuously flows.
Lights and sounds have faded,
All the feeling goes. She opens her eyes,
To see him standing there.
Next to her body,
Eyes full of tears he cannot bear.
Pain in his heart,
There's nothing he can do.
It's tearing him apart,
He wonders if he'll pull through. He kneels down beside her,
Embraces her one last time.
She slowly walks towards him,
Putting her hand on his shoulder.
He doesn't turn around,
But wanting to be bolder.
He lets out a heavy sigh,
And slowly turns around.
The tears fall down his face,
But he doesn't make a sound.
He reaches out to her,
To know if this is real.
She takes his hand,
And once again she can feel.He smiles at her,
But then it slowly fades.
There's sadness in his eyes,
Knowing she'll soon fade away.
She walks closer to him,
And embraces him once more.
She pulls away and smiles at him,
And says goodbye. He reaches out for her,
As she starts to fade.
With her final words,
She'll say...
"I'll wait for you,
Until you come.
As time goes by,
Don't forget me...
I'll wait for you."
