Chapter 14

Elena's POV

" Do you think the bass should be louder?" Angela asked me, handing me her headphones. I was currently jamming with Angela and Sarah. They were my other band members, yeah we were only three. We've been together for almost 2 years now! We were currently working on a new trap mix, it was turning out pretty well.
I listened to the part of the mix she was working on and replied " No, it's perfect." I smiled, handing her back her headphones. She nodded, smiling and continued mixing on her DJ controller.
I walked over to Sarah and we continued talking about Magcon.
" Do you think you could bring us there once?" She half-joked.
" I'm sure Bart would let you guys, and there's another girl there too, her name's Mahogany and she's the DJ." I smiled to Sarah.
" That's cool, I'm sure I'd get along with her." she said before going over to her DJ set.
" When are you guys leaving for Chicago?" she asked.
" In 2 days. I'll call Bart to ask him if you guys can come." I added.
Angela and Sarah both squealed in excitement.
I rolled my eyes playfully and pulled out my phone from my back pocket. I quickly scrolled through the contacts and finally found Bart's number and called it. He answered on the third ring.
" Hey El!" he said, cheerfully.
" Yo, Bart. I need to ask something." I said, waking around the room as Angela and Sarah looked at me, eager to know if they can come.
" Yes? What is it Elena?" he asked.
" Well, my two friends Angela and Sarah are also DJs, I'm wondering if they can come tour with us for Magcon Chicago." I said and quickly put him on loudspeaker so that Angela and Sarah could hear.
" Of course they can join us!" He answered happily. " I'll mail you 3 tickets for Illinois." he added.
I smiled widely and added " Thanks so much Bart, see you in two days." before hanging-up.
Angela and Sarah and I were all jumping up and down in excitement.
" Hey, I have an idea! Let's go shopping for Magcon Chicago!" Angela squealed.
Sarah high-fived her in agreement while I rolled my eyes playfully at my bestfriends.
I quickly texted my mom, telling her we were going to the mall. And we all got our purses and rode my car to the mall.

" El, try this on, I'm sure it would go on you perfectly." Sarah handed me a cute lace dress. I ran to the dressing room and tried it on. No lie, it looked really cute. I stepped out of the dressing room to show Angela and Sarah the dress.
Angela squealed as Sarah gasped.
" You look so cute!" they both said in chorus.
I laughed at them and said " I'm lucky you guys have taste in clothes."

We headed out of the mall with probably 10 shopping bags each. I both this. Angela both this and Sarah both that.
We all piled up in the car when I got a text from Cameron.

Cam: Yo sister, where are you?
El: Ange, Sarah and I went shopping, we're just about to leave.
Cam: Kk, I just need to ask you something when you get bacn, see ya.
El: See ya.

We drove off and I had to drop off Angela and Sarah at their houses. I was on my way home, since Angela and Sarah live near by, it didn't take me long to get back to my house. I carefully parked my car in the driveway and got all my shopping bags, which was getting heavy, and went up to my room. I dropped all the shopping bags on the floor and made my way to Cameron's room.
I knocked three times and Cam quickly answered.
He looked quite nervous about something.
" Hey Cam, what's up?" I asked while sitting on his bed.
He stood up in front of me, there was a pause and he finally spoke up " I want Katrina to be my girlfriend." he said very fast.
I immediately stood up and hugged him, I pulled away and started jumping up and down.
" Yayy, finally!" I cheered.
" But, I don't really know how too." he mumbled, shyly.
I laughed softly and sat him down on his bed, next to me and explained to him how he should do it.
" Thanks for the advice sis." He hugged me as I left his room.
I was walking over back to my room to start packing when my phone started ringing in my back pocket. I quickly pulled it out and laughed when I saw Matt's caller i.d. I clicked answer and put him on loud speaker.
" Matt!" I said, excited.
" Elena!" he screamed back, copying me.
I laughed as he laughed along.
" How ya doing?" I asked, as I set my phone on my bed so I could start packing while I talked to him.
" Missing you." he said, chuckling slightly.
I blushed and opened my dresser to get my clothes.
" Missing you too." I giggled.
We both laughed along and I said " Oh and btw, my band members are going to tour with us in Chicago." I smiled.
" That's great! Can't wait to meet them and to see you again." He said.
I blushed again as I opened up my suitcase.
We continued chatting about whatsoever until my Cameron called me from downstairs, that it was dinner time.
" Matt, I have to go make dinner for my lazy brother." I sighed as I played with my fingers.
He laughed and added " See you in 2 days!" before hanging-up.
I decided to change into my pajamas already because they're just really comfy. I tied my hair up in a high ponytail and headed downstairs. I saw Cameron on his phone sitting by the kitchen counter.
" Cam, can I just for once teach you how to cook, like pasta or something?" I asked, pleadingly.
He laughed and turned to me and said " If you want the kitchen to set on fire."
" Nevermind." I laughed and walked to the stove.
I decided to make balsamic chicken with hers and a salad because I love that.
The chicken turned out perfectly cooked and the salad was very pretty.
I handed Cameron's plate and sat next to him.
" This is so goooood." he said extending the 'o'
I laughed and said " It's the Elena power!" as I put my fist in the air.
We continued chatting and eating and we both headed to Cameron's room.
We both laid down on his bed. I laid my head on his chest and he put and arm around my shoulder. I was so thankful to have Cameron, we had that really cool brother-sister relationship, we never fought and said bad stuff to each other.
I saw that Cameron pulled out his phone and was taking a photo. I smiled at the camera and watched him as he posted it on instagram with the caption: ' Cuddle sesh with the best sister'
I smiled at the caption as he tagged me. We both soon fell asleep....
