Friday at the Cafe':

I sat at a table in the Cafe', waiting for Liam to show up.

It was 18:10

And I tried not to panic, just yet.
It was only 10 minutes.
He'll be here. (I told myself)
I hope.

Just then I heard the little bell at the door tingle and I saw Liam come in.
I felt a sense of relief overwhelm me. But only cause I was going to get my phone back.

He saw me and walked over to the table and took a seat.

He smiled and I froze.

Damn it. His smile was gorgeous.

Hey, Em. He said
Umm.. Hey.. I said trying to snap out of it

He reached into he's pocket and pulled out my phone and I did the same with he's. We then handed each other our phones and sighed loudly

Aah. Thank God! I missed you! I said

Liam looked over at me and let out a laugh.

What? I asked trying to act like what I just did wasn't weird at all.

Nothing. He said as he let out another laugh.

So do you wanna get a coffee and talk a bit? He asked me

I looked at him and when our eyes connected. My heart rate went through the roof. But I had to make myself strong. I couldn't let myself go through all of the things that comes with dating a celebrity. I'm this little no body compared to Liam and I don't think I'd be able to handle all of the media and his management. It's just going to be too hard.

My smile slowly faded from my lips cause I knew I had to become a bit more serious now.

Umm. Look. I know you probably think we're friends now. Or whatever. But. The truth is. I don't know if we should really. You know? Continue to even talk to each other. It'll be safer for you and your career anyways. You know? Not having to deal with any speculations.
And I'll be able to carry on with my life and everything will just go back to normal. I said

He looked at me. Kind of shocked.

Silence filled the the air.

After a while of just sitting in silence. He broke the silence.

Umm. Y-you're probably right. It would be best for us to just go our separate ways. He said looking down at his phone

Yeah. It would be. I said. Faking a smile
Okay. He said as he began to get up

I got up and he gripped me, unexpectedly by my waist and pulled me into a hug.

I didn't pull away.
I wrapped my arms around he's neck and we stood there, alone in the middle of the Cafe' holding onto each other.

But I knew if this goes on. It would just complicate things.
