Another day, another round of the same old routine—whether at school, on the streets, or anywhere Kim Taehyung went, it was always the same. It seemed to be the curse of being handsome, a burden he carried with a mix of pride and frustration. Taehyung, the sole heir to the affluent Kim family, with a sister as stunning as himself, was well aware of the labels attached to him.
He was a playboy, a bully, a badass who had dropped out of school two years ago, and, of course, extremely wealthy. Everywhere he went, heads turned. That was who he was, and he had come to accept it.
Bored and restless, Taehyung decided to call Namjoon, hoping for some new excitement. When Namjoon answered with a casual "Hey, Tae! Wassup?!", Taehyung couldn't help but smirk. He was supposed to be the one asking that, but Namjoon's laid-back attitude always managed to lighten the mood. After a bit of back-and-forth, Namjoon teased him about his next target, hinting that Taehyung wouldn't like this one. Intrigued, Taehyung pressed for more details, his curiosity growing with each passing second.
Namjoon finally revealed that the new target was someone intriguing, a friend of Jin's. However, he warned Taehyung that this one wouldn't be an easy conquest.
The anticipation was killing him, and when Namjoon finally spilled the name—Jeon Jungkook—Taehyung was taken aback. Jeon Jungkook? But he was his first target. The one he thought he was done with? Taehyung's mind raced as Namjoon suggested he should date Jungkook again.
Before Taehyung could fully process the idea, Namjoon had already hung up, leaving him to grapple with the unexpected twist.
As the dial tone echoed in his ear, Taehyung felt a mix of confusion and unease. It felt like he was being thrown back into a situation he wasn't prepared for.
What if Jungkook was out for revenge? What if this time, he made Taehyung suffer? The what-ifs swirled in his mind, leaving him on edge.
Determined not to let things spiral out of control, he muttered to himself, "Jeon Jungkook! I swear I won't let this happen!"
His exclamation was met with a scolding from his mother, who yelled at him from the next room for shouting so early in the morning. The irony wasn't lost on Taehyung—after all, who was the one shouting now?
