1st Heart

After class, Taehyung quickly exited the classroom, eager to find his hyungs. The conversation he had earlier weighed heavily on his mind, especially the absurd suggestion that he should date Jeon Jungkook again. It baffled him why his hyungs would even consider such a thing, especially since he was done with Jungkook. 

As he hurried to their usual meeting spot, someone intentionally bumped into him. Taehyung knew this move all too well; many had tried to catch his attention by bumping into him.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't watch my steps," the guy muttered, lowering his head.

"Yes, you obviously didn't! So fuck off!" Taehyung snapped, his irritation clear. The guy raised his head to meet Taehyung's glare.

"Kim Taehyung, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean it," he apologized, but Taehyung wasn't in the mood for apologies.

"Whatever! Just go and don't you dare show your face to me again!" Taehyung growled as the guy walked away. Yet, after a few steps, the stranger stopped and called out to him once more.

"Taehyung-ssi!" the guy shouted.

"What now?!" Taehyung yelled back, exasperated.

"I wish luck is on your side when it comes to Jungkook," the guy said with a smirk before continuing his walk, leaving Taehyung utterly dumbfounded. Who the hell was that?

The brief encounter left Taehyung rattled. The guy's aura had shifted in an instant, and his cryptic words about Jungkook only added to Taehyung's unease. Did this guy know Jungkook? Were they close? He needed answers, and he needed them from his hyungs. Bursting into their usual spot, he immediately sought them out.

"Hyung!" Taehyung shouted, drawing their attention.

"Ooh! Here's our gun!" Jin hyung cooed, amused by Taehyung's frantic entrance.

"Hyung! Tell me what's up with Jeon Jungkook. I'm done with him, remember?! I thought I was supposed to be dating someone new," Taehyung exclaimed, frustration clear in his voice.

"Shut up, Taehyung! You're ruining my sleep!" Yoongi hyung grumbled, his irritation palpable.

"Aish! This hyung!" Taehyung mumbled, feeling cornered.

"So, Taehyung-ah, are you dying to know why?" Jin hyung teased.

"Honestly, we don't know either," Namjoon hyung admitted with a shrug.

"Aish, never ask an idiot to answer a stupid question," Jin hyung sighed, clearly exasperated by the whole situation.

"We want you to learn a lesson," Yoongi hyung, who was already drifting back to sleep, chimed in.

"For what?! I didn't do anything wrong!" Taehyung protested, feeling unfairly targeted.

"Aish! You're a troublemaker, so don't say that," Jin hyung interjected. "You're going to date Jeon Jungkook, whether you like it or not!" Namjoon hyung commanded, leaving no room for argument.

"You know what the stupid punishment is, right?" Jin hyung added, making Taehyung feel even more uneasy.

"Okay, okay! I'll date him, just don't take my precious car," Taehyung finally conceded, sighing in defeat.

"Great! Sounds cool then," Namjoon hyung agreed, clearly satisfied.

Yeah, great. Taehyung thought bitterly. His life was about to turn upside down. He loved his car more than anything, and certainly more than Jeon Jungkook. Who was Jungkook to be in love with, anyway? But as Taehyung began to leave, he remembered the strange encounter from earlier.
