Castles and Crushes

Julia woke up in a light elegant room. It had drapes and banners and flags all over it and nearly everything had an outline of gold. The desk in the corner was big and Important looking. Her bed bigger than a king size everywhere she looked there was something or the other bigger and grander than there had been at her old home back in London. Someone cleared their throat in the corner.. someone she didn't recognise. "I'm sorry if I woke you your highness" the clear voice of a boy not much older than she was said "But its time to get up through there" he said pointing to the small doors "is your dressing room go pick something to wear and do what girls do." He turned to leave but Julia called out to him "wait what is your name?" she questioned "Jacob" he said and he left not giving her anymore time to question him but one question was in her head and she needed it to be answered why did Jacob call her your majesty it gave her butterfly's  just thinking about it.

Julia went through the doors Jacob had pointed at before he left and was taken aback by what was inside. There was what looked like mahogany open closets lined up and rows of dresses ,shoes ,tops ,bottoms and .....tiaras?

After a while of deciding what dress to put on she decided on a silk red one with a skirt just below the knee and some flats which where a raven black. As Julia went to leave the room she was stopped by a guard "your highness I think you have forgotten your tiara" Julia once again had no clue what they were talking about but nevertheless turned around ran to the wardrobe and grabbed the closest gold tiara encrusted with 3 ruby's the biggest in the middle. Once again she left the room to be met by a small boy.

The boy smiled at her "Hallo" he exclaimed he obviously wasn't shy , "Hello" Julia replied a little more quiet the young boy began to drag her down the halls "where are we going?" she questioned "breakfast your majesty" the boy answered "why do you call me your majesty?" she had had the chance to get the answer to the question she had asked for ages .... well since this morning at least. The boy just answered "well you are the princess after all"....

The boy had led her a room that had great length but not much width. A guard pulled a seat out for her and she thanked him. "It took you 2 hours to get ready your highness I'm impressed" Julia looked up startled to see Jacob sitting there a few seats down and across from where she was. She was served a plate of bacon she tucked in ignoring Jacob all together. He once again spoke " No one has taken that long since Queen Maradela 12 years ago". "were you even here 12 years ago?" Julia asked him. Jacob grinned and said "you bet I was the boy that had to wait outside for her and I opened the door on her putting on her dress that's how I know about corsets and stuff". Julia just sat there " wow umm right was I supposed to put one on?" she asked him "up to you, your are the princess after all ".

The young boy came back and gave Jacob a hug "Hello Jacob" he said Julia looked confused "this is my younger brother Marthellore he is training to be the state militarian she became more confused after what Jacob had just said "a militarian is who controls who does what in the military but normally they work as guides to show they can give instructions and orders but because of my place here he works as your guide" he explained "oh right well hello Marthellore" "I prefer to be called March" he replied quietly "ok then March" she replied.

Jacob and Julia continued to talk and laugh until March asked Jacob "is she your girlfriend?" Jacob became wide eyed and began to flush and tell his brother "noNOnoNOnoNO" Julia just sat there and thought to herself "I wish".
