Total drama world tour: Gwen's POV

Chapter 13

     I ran as fast as I could; away from everything. I don't understand why I always end up hurt. I felt my phone vibrate, and I saw it was Duncan. I didn't know whether to ignore it, or answer, so I just let it ring.

     After three more calls, he finally stopped. I glanced around to try and see where I was, but quickly became confused and lost. I sat down on a bench and tried to locate where exactly I was at, but no internet connection stopped me. I heard footsteps approach me, and I turned my head to see Noah.

"What are you doing out here", I asked wiping away some tears that had fallen.

"I followed you."

"That's not creepy at all", I joked. He took a seat beside me and began making conversation.

"Why are you crying? Did that ass Trent do something again?"

"To be honest, I love Duncan. He is my everything- well was. It hurts to see someone you love, have feelings for someone else."

"I know what you mean, I am in the same predicament." I didn't understand what he had said, but just went along with it. We sat there in quiet until he sat up.

"Follow me, I want to show you something." I obliged and followed. I didn't ask any questions because I was curious as to where he was taking me. After a few more minutes, he stopped at a gorgeous waterfall.

"Wow, that's amazing", I said in awe.

"I know, I come here to get away from all the drama", he said watching my gaze.

"Do you want to swim", I blurted out. He smiled at me and began to take his shirt off. I placed my phone down and did the same, feeling a little self conscious while doing so. We jumped into the water at the same time, and began to swim. The water was freezing, but I quickly got used to it. I wander what Duncan's doing? I was quickly taken out of my thoughts because Noah splashed me.

"Hey! What was that for?"

"I don't know." I laughed and we had an all out splash war. It was fun, and he ended up grabbing me and spinning me around. He let me go and we just stared at each other; not knowing what to do next. I felt his hand brush against my cheek and I blushed at his affection. I had never thought of Noah anyway other then a friend, but that soon changed. He leaned in and I almost felt his lips press against mine until I heard my name being called. I quickly moved from his grip and looked around. It was Duncan.

     I was weirdly excited to see him, and apologize for what I had done. I got out of the water and saw him standing there.

"Gwen! Im so sorry", he said while looking serious. Before he could say anything else, I ran up to him and kissed him. He didn't push me away, and instead deepened the kiss. I felt sparks fly and I completely forgot Noah was still here. I pulled away and Duncan gave me a confused look, and then saw Noah. Noah looked broken.

"Noah...." He turned away from my sight and got out of the water.

"I had fun Gwen", was all he could muster up. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but had I made a mistake?

"What was that about", Duncan asked curiously.

"I don't know", I lied. I finally understand what he meant back there at the bench, and it hurt. He loved me, but I loved Duncan.

"Let's go back before Chris finds out."

"I agree." We walked back to the place holding hands, and I couldn't help but feel guilty for hurting Noah. Maybe we could still be friends?
