Kate woke up next to Josh, his soft breathing on the crook of her neck, his body so warm as he layed close to her.
She giggled quietly, but loud enough. Josh's eyes fluttered open. "Hey, beautiful," Kate whispered.
Josh smiled and pulled Kate closer by her waist so their bodies touched. Then a heat rose up into Josh's cheeks as he realised, "We're nude, aren't we..."
"Yup." said Kate, wrapping her arms around Josh's neck, bringing his lips to hers.
They lay for a while like this, pressed against each other like the pages of a book.
"Mmmmmh..." Josh moaned. "This is nice but we should pack. We're leaving tomorrow, remember?"
"Okayokay." Kate stood up before walking into the bathroom.
After her shower, she slipped on some black skinny jeans and a band tee and left for her apartment.
Josh was excited by the prospect of travel, even though he was bricking it. He packed all of his things into a suitcase, putting a spare change, waterproofs and toiletries in a separate bag like Kate had advised. He then left his room with his stuff to meet in Kate's dorm.
As he walked in, he saw all her clothes folded and in a small open suitcase.
She had a backpack full of animal food and was bent over a wheelcase with blacklights inside. Kate stepped back and in the case was a tight arrangement of small tanks where her spiders and other bugs were loaded. She pulled a bag out and put a heat mat in the bottom of it, urging Sock inside.
She moved onto her plants by watering them, then putting them each in their own Miniaturised Environment Simulator ball so they'd be taken care of for their entire journey.
"Done."
"Good," Josh replied. "Back to bed!"
