Alena's P.O.V
We arrived at the Avengers Base at 12:30am. I held Alex close to me as we got inside the building. "Nick!" Steve yelled as Alex began to cry in my arms. I tried to calm him down but his crying continued. Nick Fury walked out of his office tiredly with a questioning look.
"Charlotte ran away" me and Steve said at the same time. Those 3 words were enough to wake up Fury. He ran into action getting several agents began to send out search parties for our daughter. Loki could get ahold of her easily. It terrified me to think that. I wondered what he would do to her. I sat down in the living room with Alex in my lap.
"Oh Alex! If only I told your sister the truth" I whispered as I rubbed my thumb gently on Alex's soft, chubby cheeks. I felt fresh, warm, salty tears roll down my cheeks as I thought about Charlotte. She was in danger.
"Alena?" Thor asked entering the room.
"Thor. It's all my fault! I shouldn't have lied to her" I said with a sob.
"It's not your fault, Alena" he said as Alex began to cry again.
"Here I'll take him" Nat said as I handed Alex to her and she calmed him down as I sobbed into Thor's chest.Charlotte's P.O.V
I saw mommy and daddy's car in the parking lot which meant I had to be sneaky. I quietly walked over to the front doors and pushed them open slowly. I walked down the hallway as quietly as I could. I saw daddy talking to Uncle Tony. I hid behind the garbage can as Daddy and Uncle Tony walked past. Part of me wanted to run up and hug daddy but my anger for them lying to me was holding me back.
Once they walked away, I ran into the lab and saw the scepter attached to something and it clearly has a keypad so I have to type in something. Oh boy! If only I listened to mommy and Bruce's stupid conversations about the scepter. I typed in random numbers but it didn't seem to be working. I got angry with the keypad and ended up grabbing the scepter. Once it broke from the holder the alarms began to go off. I climbed into the vents and crawled as fast as I could. I stopped when I heard my mother's voice.
"If he hurts her-"
"He won't get the chance" Thor said.
"Come on" mommy said as the two of them exited the lab. I continued to crawl and soon I found the outside vent and kicked it off. I crawled out and ran towards the forest as fast as my little legs could carry me. I got into the forest and saw the man standing there at the tree.
"I got it!" I whisper yelled out of breath. He smiled before taking the scepter from me. The blue gem in the scepter glowed for a few seconds. He chuckled softly before turning towards me.
"Good job, little one" he said patting me on the head softly.
"That stupid keypad didn't work" I mumbled as he took ahold of me.
"Well time to do my end of the deal" he said making me jump excitedly.
"I'm going to Asgard!" I squealed with excitement. He picked me up and yelled a few words before a strong wind and a bunch of lights came down. We were pulled up towards the sky. I clung onto the man and closed my eyes. But soon the wind and the lights were gone. I opened my eyes to see that we were in some kind of golden room. I looked around in amazement. My eyes landed on a guy who was now completely frozen.
"I believe I forgot something" the man said.
"What?" I asked.
"I forgot to tell you my name" he said with a sick smile, "my name is Loki."
"Nice to meet you" I said smiling as we walked down what he called the rainbow bridge. I was so excited that I didn't realize the danger that I just brought to the city of Asgard.
