All You ever wanted

Chapter 1

It was my first day at college. I woke up early in the morning to start the day. I had a sleepover with my best friend Christine the night before, since it was the last time I will be seeing her in a long time. My mother wasn't awake yet and my father travelled to Las Vegas for some business work. I went straight in to the shower and took a nice hot 15 minutes shower. I got out of the shower and wiped myself with a towel. After that, I ran to my room to look for a nice outfit to wear. Finally, I decided to wear my long black jeans with a black vest underneath. To finish off the outfit, I got my special grey striped scarf and my wooly cardigan.

Afterwards, Christine helped me with my makeup, since she was a good makeup artist. I went downstairs to get some breakfast and found my mom already awake. "Good morning" i said to my mom. "Morning sweetie" she replied.

My mom and I were very close friends. I could tell her anything and she never gets upset with anything I say. My dad on the other hand, is very strict and never want me to mingle with boys. "Are you nervous for your first day of college?" my mom asked with a big smile on her face. "I'm kinda nervous," I replied feeling a bit embarrassed. "There is no need to be nervous sweetie. You are going to have the best moments in college, make good friends, be nice to people and work hard. Everything is gonna be fine honey; I promise." My mom said. My mom is always trying to cheer me up through good and bad time. That is why I love her so much. "I'm gonna get in the shower, i don't want you to be late for your big day hun." My mom said not wanting to be a pest. "Make sure you eat breakfast before we leave." "Yes ma'am," I replied.

I started preparing some eggs and pancakes for breakfast. As i was preparing breakfast. I heard a knock on the door, my heart dropped, I was wondering who the hell is at my house at this time in the morning. I tip toed to the door and the first thing I heard was SURPRISE! I screamed so loud that Christine came downstairs to check on me.

My fucking dad was home. "Dad!" I said in a surprised tone. "Yes my princess, are you surprised?" he asked, "Hell yeah I am! What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be working?" I asked. "Yeah, but I can't miss the first day of college for my princess, I came home to escort you to school." He said. You didn't have to co.." he cut me off as I was speaking. "Shhhh!" he kept his finger on my lip. "I had to come princess, it's your first day in college. Aren't you happy to see me?" hell yes I am. I said jumping on him and hugging him. Christine was standing there with a big smile on her face. "Sweetheart you finally reached," I heard my mom say, as she joined us. "Mom you knew dad was coming and you didn't tell me? I thought we were close enough to tell each other secrets." I said to my mom. "It was suppose to be a surprise darling." My mom said. I hugged both of my parents and said I love you both so much. My dad gave me a huge pink gift bag that felt very heavy. "Here princess, this is yours." He said. "I hope you like them." I went to my room with Christine to open the gift bag. It was throughly wrapped.

What the fuck is in here? "Oh-my-fucking-God." I muttered. Christine was confused. "What is wrong," she asked. I didn't answer her, I just kept staring at my gift. My dad bought me a makeup kit, iPhone 6s plus, 3 pairs of heels and two pairs of converse with some clothes. This was like the best day of my life. "Your dad really loves you, you know that right?" Christine said. I didn't bother to answer her. Questions kept running through my head.

What happened with being strict? Why would my dad buy me a makeup kit? I was so confused, surprised and happy at the same time. I ran downstairs and went to hug my daddy and screamed."Thank you so much daddy, i love you so much!" he was very excited that i liked my gift. "i love you too princess," he said. I thought you were strict and you never let me wear makeup. What got into you?" I asked my dad. "You are 17 now and you are on your way to college, there is no need of being strict anymore princess." He said. I gave my dad another hug as my mom broke the hug by saying,"Alright, alright, let's keep going before you are late for school. I didn't even eat breakfast because I wasn't feeling hungry anymore.

We all went to the car as we drove to the college. My college was 8 hours apart from where I lived, we all kept talking in the car as they were telling me how college is going to be fun. After a long drive, we arrived at the college, I was really sad that my family was leaving me and I won't be able to see them until the summer break. I was going to miss my best friend and all the memories we have shared and everything we have been through.
