Merriwhether
Had a feather
Let it fall to flame
She watched while the colors danced
The heat fluttered up to her face
The feather still burning
Faint screams are the first to enter
Frightened, scared, glimpsed around
Notice finally it comes from the plumage
The feather writhed in the licking fire
And turns out the shrieking sounds
As to all surprise it's more than soft down
The curse from a millennia before
Lets the dying feather release the cursed
The foolish lover
Merriwhether, as she sprang in surprise
Has quickly come to means with her
Action that was done in boredom
The list of her mistakes starts then
As she steps towards the released man
One who was prisoner in feathers
Up she looks to his eyes
Deep pools of brown
She's pulled to the story shown
His eyes show her their new life together
He reveals the love they will share
Closer she comes as this is what she desires
One hand from the girl
One hand from the man
Slowly come together and gently touch
She screams as he pulls her roughly to him
He was imprisoned for so long
And yet he's still evil
He looks at her with ravaged eyes
Whispering "Don't trust a liar"
With wide eyes she lets out a shrill scream
Down he went to her neck
He reveals his beastly teeth
Sinking down and shaking her like a toy
But the agony had only begun
He refuses to give her a quick death
It's her fault that she didn't know he was a sadist
Her mistakes are what make her prey
The feather that was meant to protect us all
An there will still be the bored to ruin us
His eyes follow the blood he spilled
Having this power gives him such a divine
Rush, adrenaline
Listen carefully when you watch the feather fall
In the fire the beast grows tall
Don't be another victim
For Merriwhether they will call
