Chapter 5

A woman walked in the room with Chase. She shook my hand and introduced herself.
"Chase said there was someone here looking for a job. I'm Ms. Morgan."
ME: "I'm Eris."
MS.M: "Do you have any job experience?"
ME: "Not really no. I've been looking but no one will hire me. I just moved here and I love dinosaurs so I thought I'd try here."
She gave me a soft smile.
MS.M: "Shelby, get her an apron and show her the basics. Has Heckyl shown up for work yet?"
"I'm right here boss. Sorry I'm late, I ran into traffic."
MS.M: "Try to get here on time next time."
HECKYL: "Will do boss."
I turned to Heckyl and continued my act.
ME: "Hi, I'm Eris."
HECKYL: "My friends call me Heckyl. Nice to meet you my dear."
ME: "Same here."
Suddenly I heard some type of alarm go off and the rangers looked around in a panic.
TYLER: "Hey, Heckyl...Eris, do you think you could handle everything? We need to go on break."
I smiled.
ME: "Of course Tyler."
TYLER: "Thanks."
Everyone ran off. I looked at Heckyl. I walked over and wrapped my arms around his neck.
ME: "So, what was the real reason you were late for work my love?"
He smirked.
HECKYL: "I was picking a monster. Time for Destructa to come out and play my dear."
I kissed him and pulled away.
ME: "Who's the monster?"
HECKYL: "Her name is Beevil. She once fought against the ninja storm rangers but failed. Sledge brought her back from the grave stronger than ever. I've given her a formula that can change the rangers into little kids again. That way, we can get the energems without them even realizing we're the bad guys."
ME: "That is absolutely insane Heckyl. I love it. Time to play with the rangers. Destructa out!"
I walked out the back door and transformed into Destructa. Then I teleported to the fight.
