This is a poem I wrote a little while ago. It popped into my head one day when I was writing poetry with my best friend. He helped me with the first line and then I wrote the rest. I've always really liked it. I have a few poems I've written, but this is the one I've always really liked and I'm also using it for a "Phoetry" assignment in my photography class.

The passionate rumble of horses advancing

Through the meadows as they practice their prancing

What a sight it is to witness

The sheer simplicity and such bliss

Their hearts and hooves beat as one

In this never ending light of joy and fun

As the sun goes down they settled to rest

Under the stars they sleep true spirits of the West
