[•After Meeting Justin, Melissa wasn't very comfortable with Justin hitting and making slight moves on him. She wanted to keep her promise that she made to herself and didn't want to fall into his charm.•]

Melissa's POV:

The day went by and I made a couple if new friends. I tried to avoid making any guy-friends because.. you know.

I found out Justin and I had about 3 classes together. He wouldn't ever leave me alone during class so I guess we were friends too. And that's all that we were gonna be.

Next period was lunch so I went back to my locker to put a couple of things away. But I totally forgot me and Justin were basically locker buddies.

"Hey Melissa", Justin said once he sighted me. I looked at him and gave him a slight wave. He didn't try to make a conversation and started putting his stuff into his locker as well. Thank God.

I guess I was a little nervous around him. I mean it's the first day of school. I don't even know him.

"So what's you next period?", he spoke up.

"Lunch", i answered.

A smile formed across his face.

"Same", he said as he closed his locker.

"K", I started walking off to the lunchroom, not feeling bad for ditching Justin. What? Did he want me to sit with him. That's inaccurate. Like I said before, I didn't want to get involved.

After I escaped the lunchroom line I scanned the cafeteria looking for my friends. I couldn't find any of them. They were probably not in this period. I scanned the cafeteria once again looking for empty table and made my way to it. I'd probably make more friends throughout the year so I figured one day wouldn't hurt. I say at my seat for about 7 minutes eating until I heard a voice.

"You ok?", he asked. Oh great.

"I'm fine. You don't have to be here", I said. He was trying too hard to please me.

"I just wanna make sure", he said gripping hisself to leave.

"Bye", I said.

"Why are you like this?", Justin questioned. Why couldn't he just leave already. He was seriously getting on my nerves.

"You know why Justin? You. You can't spend 3 minutes without me, can you? It's the first day of school, pase yourself. I'm just fresh bate to you. I can tell.", I let it all out.

Justin's POV:

My mind sorta went blank after that. Some of it was true, and the rest was a lie.

"It's not like, Melissa" , I tried to explain.

"Whatever", she said playing with her food.

I walked away. She didn't have to be like that. But whatever.
