A promise

  A young, dark cloaked walked into a small village. Her dark hair on her sides, red eyes looking around. As she walked by, people gave her strange looks. She was a stranger, and a scary looking one. Little did they know, that she was their princess who managed to run away from the Holy Knights who were hunting her. The villagers thought, that she was some kind of bandit. Or worse, a killer.
In truth, she was just stopping by to find shelter and somewhere to eat.
She has some troubles trusting people, but she wasn't rude to them. She just didn't want to get too close to them, being afraid to have to suffer that much pain again of losing someone important to her.

*Flashback*

Kate, a small princess, was sitting on the edge of the cliff, to herself as she remembered what the bullies have told her. That she was the weakest princess in history and her parents must be ashamed for having her. "Why do they have be so mean to me?" She sobbed
Someone suddenly tapped her gently from behind. She turned around to face who it was, mentally praying that it wasn't those children again.
"Hey, you're Kate, right?" A small, blonde haired with shining blue eyes asked. It looked like she had no idea that it was the princess she was talking to.
Kate nodded and sniffed.
"I saw what those kids did to you back there, don't let them get to you, okay?"
"But, they're right actually, I'm a loser.." She looked down.
"They're just jealous. You are beautiful and they're jealous of that"
"Your the first one to say that to me... thanks, it actually feels kinda nice!" She looked up and smiled.
"I'm Lucy!" She extended her hand towards Kate and she took it "Nice to meet you!"
"Me too!"

From then on, they both became best of friends. They both made a promise to never leave each other's side, no matter what. And and were happy with what they had. Until one day...

Kate and Lucy were supposed to meet at the forest entrance, near Kate's favorite tree to pick some herbs and berries. While Kate was doing so, a appeared from a meter or two in front of both of them, and they ran. Kate suddenly tripped and Lucy helped her, which resulted for her to be the one to be captured. The monster punched the ground where it's hand was holding Lucy. Kate stared in utter shock and fear. Tears were running down her cheeks before she made a dash for it. She looked back one last time and saw Lucy smiling sweetly at her before the monster ate her... Kate broke their promise to each other... She felt like she betrayed her best friend.

*End of Flashback*

It's been many years since that happened. Because of that experience, it was the reason why she had trouble trusting others deeply. It was also because of that experience that she became 'The Hyena's Sin of Betrayal'. Her is located at her neck, which is hidden by her turtle-neck shirt with a hole in the chest part which reveals her cleavage (only) and the end of the sleeves was connected to her middle finger by a silver ring, partnered with a black skirt and a large leather shoulder bag. Everything, except the bag, was covered by a dark cloak...
It was noon already so Kate was pretty hungry. She spotted a nearby house with a resting beside it, staring at the clouds
"Umm, excuse me miss?" The giant looked at her. She had to admit, the giant was pretty cute.
"Yes?"
"Do you know any restaurant where I can eat?"
The giant girl smiled at her, pointing to the house beside her "Come in, this is boar hat! You can eat here if you want!"
Kate smiled at her before nodding and walking inside.
