Chapter 4: The Date And The Other Side Of Cry

I was home, cleaning the living room, Ryan called a couple minutes ago and said he would be late with coming over so that's why I'm cleaning now to pass the time, I Skyped with Pewds and met his girlfriend Marzia, the two were adorable when together. I made my way into the kitchen and took a slice of pizza and a can of soda, walking into the living room I decided on playing some COD, Castle Crashers and The Walking Dead for fun. ~Love, it is- ~ "Hello?" "Hey sis" "Hey bro, what's up?" "Just wanted to congrat you on your vids with Cry" "Thanks" "No prob but I wanted to let you know that Mom's birthday is in five days, Mom wants us all there" I stoped eating my pizza. "Really?" "Yeah and well..she also invided Sam" I droped my pizza that time. "Are you kidding me?" "No, I'm not excatly happy eather Lan, but mom invided him" "And how is dad handling this?" "You know he will be pissed but he will give Sam the cold shoulder in the end" "I know..but why have him there, he mad our life hell" I was upset now."I don't know Lan, I wanted to give you a heads up, talk to you later" "Talk to you later" We hung up. "Gosh darn it!" I sighed and slumped in my couch, getting up I put COD in, put my headphones on, and went online. I noticed Drew and Harris were on. "And the two didn't tell me" I frowned, I sent the two a message. In the end we started playing teams. "All right FellowOn 23 you sissy ass people let's get a move on" Our other team mate were acting a fool. 'Shut up Wasabie you mouthy bitch' "Oh you wanna talk shit huh?" 'Yeah, you wanna talk shit then I will talk shit' I started an arguement with the dude. 'Wasa calm down' Drew said over the mic. 'Take a breather love' Harris added. I decided to get off and just go out the back and relax, I was so upset that Sam was even going to show his face. "Man" I got up and went to the bathroom, filling up the tub I decided to give the dogs a bath. "Pogo. Poco, Cordgi!" The two chubby little pugs came running in, Cordgi walked in and ploped on the bathroom rug. "Okay you three" I picked up Pogo and Poco first. "You guys need a bath, so dirty" I smiled.

I was home finishing up for the day when my phone went off. "Hello?" "Hey Cry, Drew here" "Oh, hey dude, what's up?" "I talked to Lanna" "Okay?" I sat down. "I told her that our mother's birthday was in five days and that she wanted us all there" "Okay" I was confused. "Well..our mom's ex..Lanna and our older brother Antony's dad was invided, he is not really the greatest person, he made our life hell and Lanna hates him with all her being" I leaned forward and rubbed my chin. "Go on" "I told her and she is pissed, I was online with her and our friend Harris not to long ago and she blew up, she never does that." I stood up. :"Okay, well I'm going over to her place today" "Well all I can say is, be careful, and protect your nuts" I could not help but laugh at that. "Okay, bye" "Bye" I hung up and grabbed my keys. "Well then"

~Lanna's House~

I walked up to Lan's door and knocked. "Lan, it's me!" I brushed my fingers through my hair and waited. "Coming!" I heard footsteps and the door opend. "Hey" I smiled. "Hey" She walked away as I walked inside and shut the door. "I'm guessing Drew called you and told you to protect your nuts?" She looked at me. "Um..yeah" She nodded. "Look, I am in a shit mood and I'm sorry if I come off as a huge bitch" She sat down and sighed. "Understandable" I walked over and sat beside her. "I know we have been friends for only about..three or four weeks now, but if you wanna talk, I'm here" She smiled at me lightly. "I know.." I glanced at her and grinned. "Go ahead Lanna" She pulled her legs up and leaned agenst the arm of the couch, she wore a Red Pewds shirt and White shorts, she looked cute. Cute..yeah but she is my friend, that's all, right? "Before Drew was born it was just me, Antony and our Mom and..Dad" She said Dad like it was the worst word in the world. "He made our life hell, he was a awful drunk and always treated us like we were lowly people, called us all kinds of awful names, we grew up with him like that" I was speechless, Lanna grew up like that yet she is the sweetest person ever."He would even go as far as hitting us when we didn't do what he wanted, yelled alot, me and Antony even had a few visits to the hospital from broken bones, he had a broken leg, arm, broke his wrist twice" I felt my chest tighten. "I had a broken arm, leg, even a rib" Her eyes became watery. "Mom was no better off, soon she had enough and called the cops,he was taken away but we had no money for a good lawyer so we coulden't do much of anything, he was sent to rehab and mom was able to leave him, we moved later on and that's when she met Drew's Dad, Drew was born, but Sam's abuse left its mark, Antony gained a drug addiction to cope, Mom became depressed and is timid of men, I was surprised she stayed with our current Dad..me..I became anti-social and could never gain courage to make friends let alone talk around people, I was shy and timid..Harris and Drew helped with that though" She rubbed her wet eyes, I couldn't stop myself, my body moved on its own, I pulled her into a tight hug and held her. "He came back into our life as a 'Changed' man and wanted to try and be our friend, me and Antony never botherd" She leaned agenst me gently. "Thanks Ryan" "No problem" I said low and held her closer, she hugged back just the same.
