Long ago, there was a beautiful and talented ballerina. Everyone looked up to her, and she knew it. One day, she traveled to the forest to pick flowers for her next performance. On the way, she met a water dancing fairy named Lily. The ballerina boasted that she was the best dancer in the land, and that no one could ever outshine her. Lily thought for a moment. "I too, dance. Say, why don't we have a competition?" The ballerina accepted and soon the gloomy forest was transformed into a shining stage. The ballerina was light on her feet, but she was no match for the far more experienced Lily, and so the boastful ballerina was turned to stone. Lily flew away, satisfied with the ballerina's demise.
Back in her village, the locals were calling out the ballerina's name in vain of finding her. Soon, a search party was originized. Remembering that the ballerina left early in the morning to pick flowers in the forest, they stepped into the dangerous habitat of the fairies. They found her, still encased in stone, not long after. They struggled carrying the litterally stone-hard ballerina back to her home.
Nowadays, the once famous ballerina is propped up, spinning proudly above a marble fountain, the crystal clear water filled with a variety of different coins. A large, flat stone sits below the fountain. There are words on the stone. In cursive, it reads, "May the beauty and grace of Rebbeca Li forever be with us."
AN: I made this up in class today. Our assignment was to build a machine and make a story out of it. Some people, made a news report, but my parter and I made a backstory.
