LEO'S POV

12 YEARS AGO

"Mom I'm sorry please!"

But she wouldn't listen she kept on hitting, slicing, punching, burning and kicking me.

"It hurts Mom please stop !!" I started to cry hysterically.

She left my room for awhile. I struggled to get up but sharp pains from my sides as well as the bruises, cuts and burns that were preventing me to do so. My mother came back with a knife in her hand. My eyes widen and I started to beg and pled but she wouldn't listen.

"Shut the fu*k up you worthless child." "Now be a good boy and sleep." she then lifts up the knife. "Mother please I'm really sorry I love you please!!!" "Shunk!!"
BEEP BEEP BEEP!! I woke up in my bed covered in tears and sweat I wiped my eyes "It was just a dream." I pondered for a moment staring into the mirror across my bed I sighed and got up took a shower combed my hair brushed my teeth and got dressed for school.

I went down stairs "Good morning Grace." I greeted my step-mother "morning Leo breakfast is on the table." I sat down on the stool and ate breakfast.

"Where's Pops." I asked. "He left early for his job he's not coming back for a few days & I might not come home too so make sure you behave ok." She replied taking the plate off the table. "Yes ma'am understood."

My father was an architect so he tends to work for days to make the perfect building. He got remarried to Grace after multiple incidents that occurred with my real mother. I took the keys to my Mustang GT said my goodbyes to grace and drove to school.

I parked at school I got out the car and saw Jake and Jeremy waiting for me at the front gate of the school. All three of us were together since 3rd grade they were like brothers to me we've never fought we stay cool and collective, But when we do have a quarrel or fight we would calm down and laugh of how stupid we sounded.

"Hey lion what's up." Jake siad in a mocking voice. " Sup Faggot." I shot back he put his hand over his chest. "Damn that hurt man"I chuckled.

"Yo leo wats happening?" Jeremy asked. "Noin much my parents won't be home for a couple days so Ill be at home doin noin." I looked over and saw Jake's face lit up I shot a "no" before he can suggest anything Jeremy started laughing.

We began walking to class talking about James and such when we go there we took our seats the Mr.Haze told us that we'll be having a new student that's when the door opened. "Speak of the devil come and introduce yourself." He said a girl looked nervous and shy she looked so cute red hair hazel eyes long thick legs small waist,  she looked over to me and smiled, I smiled back "You know her dude?" Jake asked I siad "No  but I wished I did." I responded while looking back at her. "Hello I'm celia jones nice to meet you all and I hope we can be friends."

The boys in the class started to cheer as if they were in a Beyonce concert some of them started yelling out unnesscary questions then Mr.haze threatened to give three test for the next outburst everyone immediately were silenced.

"Well Celia you could sit next to Leo and if you need help getting around you could ask him right Leo." He asked well demanded is a better word " Yes sir." I smiled at Celia.
