3rd person POV
Connor was just sitting around playing video games when his phone started to blare.. It was someone he never thought would call him ever again...
Connor's POV:
"I'll be right there"
I cannot believe this... I knew this was going to happen... He played her. He played her like a fool... He broke her.. and I don't know if she can make it back from this..
"LACY" I scream in the park. I seriously cannot find her anywhere... I have been wondering this park for 10 minutes and I have yet to find her...
"Connor...?" I hear a small voice whimper...
"Lacy? Is that you?"
And that when I see her... She looked.... Drained? Distressed? No... She looked broken.. Her beautiful face stained with tears... Mascara down her checks... Hair all messed up.. He ruined her.. Jack messed her up... I have never seen my best friend so hurt..
That's when I just slump down the tree and just cradle her in my arms as she just cries her heart out...
"Connor...."
"Yeah?"
"Thank you"
"For what?"
.and what she said next just changed everything....

I'm so so sorry that it's been over a year... I've had so much stuff going on and high school has been crazy.. But it's my last semester of senior year.. So I'm hoping I finish this book...
