Harry had given up on finding love. It's not that he didn't want it, it's that it was too hard to find. The tattoos that scatter his torso were only visible to him and his soulmate. Yet nobody he's met had been able to see them. He's now 23 and nothing. So therefore, Harry has given up on finding love. He's willing to try if it comes along, but nothing had come along.

Harry's favorite place in downtown London was a small coffee shop his friend, Niall, owned. It was small, quiet, and very peaceful. Unlike niall, funnily.

On a busy Saturday, well, busy for everyone else except Harry, he was sitting in the corner of the shop with a vanilla latte, his usual. He held a paper in his hands and his eyes were scanning over the black, printed words.

"Famous pop star Zayn Malik has found soulmate: Gigi Hadid."

Harry scowled after reading that. He doesn't want to hear about other people finding love when he can't find his himself. He looked around the small shop, searching for a certain blonde haired boy. When he spotted him, he waved his hand for him to come over.

"What's up Haz." Niall said, untying his apron and sitting across from Harry.

"I want to get wasted tonight." Harry said bluntly. Niall laughed.

"Then let's get wasted tonight H."

Harry smirked and nodded. Sipping the rest of his vanilla latte and wiping his mouth.

"Come over around six. There's a new club by my flat I want to check out."

"Got it." Niall said, looking around nervously.

"What's going on ni?" Harry asked, looking around with niall.

Niall shook his head, "t-this girl is supposed to meet he here today." A blush appeared on Niall's cheeks. Harry smirked.

"Can she..you know?" Harry asked, suspicious.

"No, but nobody follows those rules anymore. Many people get Married to people who can't see their tats. Your just old school haz." Niall sighed, standing up.

"I'm not old school." Harry stated, crossing his arms. Just then a bell went off, signalling someone had entered the shop. A small girl walked in, blonde hair and blue eyes. Some freckles littering her cheeks. She was beautiful to say the least.

"That's her." Niall said, smiling happily, "I'm bringing her over here to meet you, so stay here." He commanded, running over and greeting the girl. Harry frowned, he wasn't old school, was he? Yeah..many people get married and start families with people who can't see their tattoos. But wouldn't it be sad knowing your true love was out there? And your not with them? Harry sighed and looked up, smiling politely when Niall walked over with the girl.

"Harry, this is Ellie, Ellie, my best mate harry." Niall introduced. Harry smiled and stood up.

"Hello Ellie, nice to meet you." He said, putting a hand out for her to shake. Ellie looked down at the hand and gladly shook it.

"Nice to meet you too harry." She said, her voice being higher then harry first thought. Niall smiled nervously at harry.

"Well, I'll let you two get to it, see you at six ni?" Harry asked, grabbing his coat. Niall nodded and they said their goodbyes. Harry slipped his coat on and walked out of the small shop, throwing away his coffee as he did.

Harry walked the streets of downtown London, enjoying the smells and sights of the city. This was by far his favourite place to be. When Harry was about 7, his mum started taking him and his sister, Gemma, here every Saturday. They would go window shopping, eat at the cafe Niall now works at, another reason it's now Harry's favourite place to eat. They would also go and walk around the lake, sometimes feed the ducks if Gemma was in the mood for it. This was their weekly tradition, until his mum was diagnosed with lung cancer. She was constantly in the hospital, and too ill to go places. Especially places as far away as London. On Harry's 13th birthday, she died in her hospital room. harry dreads his birthday now, For that reason.

Harry frowned as these thoughts consumed his mind. He shook his head as if trying to shake them away. He looked down at his watch seeing it was 4:49. Remembering he had niall coming over at 6:00, he started walking home. He was excited to go out, he and Niall hadn't done this in a while now and honestly he missed it.

Harry stared at the ground as he kept walking. When he turned the corner, he heard a faint, high pitched voice say something to him. It was obviously a man.

"Nice tats..." The voice said, softly, as if he was scared.

Harry smiled, not thinking anything of it.

"Thanks mate!" He called back, staying staring ahead and walking. Then a thought occurred to harry. Nice tats? How could he see my...

Harry stopped dead in his tracks, whipping back around. He ran to the spot he walked by when he heard the voice. Nobody was there.

"No!" Harry yelled, causing some people to stare. "No no no!"

Harry had just walked by his soulmate, and he didn't even turn to see him.
