Abduction - A Star Wars Story

Chapter 1 - The Abduction

It was night time when it hit the cold, solid earth. It was so loud that it woke my entire family. My father was not home, he left us when I was a baby, so me being the man of the house, now a big fifteen year old, it was my job to go and see what had happened. A X-Wing fighter fell from the sky. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before. See Threepio and Artoo Detoo climbed out of the mangled fighter and Seethreepio pointed to me, he could see us.

He made his way over to us and said

¨I'm See Threepio, Artoo and I here need your help fighting the Galactic Empire¨.

I remember thinking to myself ¨Are you sh***ing me? They are characters from a fiction movie and there is no fight in space. I must be dreaming.¨

But my instincts told me that I should go with him. So I did.

I helped the couple repair their spacecraft, packed my bags, said goodbye to my mom, and went on the journey in their spacecraft. See Threepio jumped to lightspeed and off we went to a galaxy far, far away. The journey to Kashyyyk was a short one, and once we got there we climbed off the plane and I was greeted by all kinds of people. Princess Leia greeted me with a hug and said ¨We are so happy to see you! Your help is much needed here!¨

This has got to be a dream I told myself, how else would they know who I was? Leia explained to me that their forces were short so they had to take in some others. Out from the main barrack came Batman, Bilbo Baggins, Revan, and the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Following them was Yoda, he explained to me that even though we have all this extra help now there is a bigger force fighting for the Empire.

¨Luke!¨ Yoda yelled ¨Luke come out here, we have a new trainee¨

Luke skywalker exited the barracks with two lightsabers attached to his trousers. He can't just two at the same time, oh please tell me one of those isn't me.

He approached me and extended one of the sabers to me. He taught me how to hold it and some basic fighting skills and we got to work, learning how to fight. After hours of training we heard a ship flying through the surrounding atmosphere.

¨Luckily,¨ Luke said, ¨ They did not see us because we would have had to relocate¨

Han Solo came crashing out of the barracks and Chewbacca and Batman were by his side. Chewbacca was yelling in some language that the wookies speak and Han was going crazy saying we need to follow the ship. He grabbed, Yoda, Bilbo, Luke, Chewy, me, and Batman. He piled us into the Millennium Falcon and within seconds we were far above the green foliage of The Wookie Planet where our base was. We jumped to lightspeed to catch up to the enemy ship. We disabled the ship with the blaster on the bottom of The Falcon, so it will fall to the nearest planet, the one neighboring ours. We land a mile from the enemy ship and walk over there. Luke briefs me on the enemy.

¨Well kid, even though we have the help of Batman and Bilbo here and a few others, the enemy has help as well.¨

¨Wait so what's the point of having the good guys here if there are the same amount of bad guys, like why not just fight them ourselves?¨ I asked.

¨Well, some of our friends here have special abilities that we don't have. For instance, Batman here has mastered the art of flying and throwing his little whatever those things are, and bilbo offers the skill of being small, which you might not think but it comes in super handy¨ Luke explained to me

As we approached the enemy time ran out to talk.

¨Stay by me,¨ Luke suggested.

So I did just that, I stuck by his side and learned the power of my light saber. We took down just a few Storm Troopers before a rescue ship came to save their leader, Darth Vader. Those damn storm troopers and their intergalactic communication. Because of the secluded nature of our base we can't even communicate between the planets. Now I know that you are probably going to ask the same question as me, Why can the Empire let the location of their base be known? I asked Luke the same question. His answer was,

¨The enemy force is so large that if we, the small little Rebel Alliance were to go and try to fight them we would all get slaughtered before we could do any real damage. So that's why we attack them whenever we see them traveling past our planet.¨

At the time it didn't make sense until I saw the real size of the empire. Artoo had a large map being carried in him on a flash drive. He projected the map up in the main chamber of the base. This was the Death Star. It was massive, about the size of a planet, but it was all metal and covered in an army of Clones, more than one hundred time our force as the Rebel Alliance. I knew that to win this intergalactic war, we were going to have to eventually have to travel to this planet and take them down.

After defeating all the stormtroopers we walked back to the Millennium Falcon to head back home. When we got back, Luke went to deliver the news to Yoda, he brought me with him.

Yoda was sitting in his chamber with all the lights out looking at the bare wall. He seemed sad, not understanding why I decided to not say anything. After all it was only my first day here and I didn't want to offend anyone.

Luke spoke to him quietly.

¨Master, we took down a few troopers but unfortunately, like usual, Vader got away¨

¨A disturbance in the force, I feel¨ Said Yoda

The way that he talked was peculiar, his sentences seemed out of order. But he is noble so I will listen to him as he speaks.

¨Master, where is this disturbance coming from?¨ Asked Luke

¨The Enemy base, I fear it is Luke. We have taken on a new enemy, I worry¨ Said the short green guy.

¨Yes master, I will alert the others¨ Luke said and then left swiftly with me right behind him.

Luke went to warn Han Solo and General Leia. They called an assembly with everyone in the rebellion.

¨Hello everyone, we have taken on a new member...¨ Leia begins, ¨John, would you come up here for a minute.¨ She asks.

So like any other respective new kid I did as she said and she introduced me to the people. Most of them were smiley and nice and polite, except one, Juliette. She must be jealous or something.

But all good men must have enemies too correct?, And enemies can live within the team or without. But the ones without are the ones that we do not have to fear, the ones we need to fear are the ones right under our noses. Under our noses sneaking around, getting to know us. Getting to know all about us.
