Midnight Wolf: My Savior.
I watch the fight unfold before my eyes, as Ryder brings out his gun, pointing it at the man who called himself Atticus Flair, with every intention to kill him for what he did to me. Another hot tear slips out, this time out of my other eye. I blink once. Twice. Why was I acting this way? It definitely was not like me. The warm feeling of relief washed over me. I was saved by him. He saved me. I was glad.
He raises the gun so that the bullet would shoot him right in between the eyes. It would be extremely painful. Atticus Flair had no chance of winning against me or Ryder, if we were ready. I could make anything a weapon to kill. I could protect myself. My wolf could protect me if I so needed him to. Ryder would protect me.
Ryder shoots once and with the crack of the bullet, a small hole in the wall, mere millimeters away from Atticus Flair's right ear was visible. Atticus Flair's eyes are wide with horror. Ryder's silver eyes that shown brightly when he was angry made him all the more frightening.
"You going to kill me now?" Atticus Flair asks Ryder. I watch for Ryder's response. He raises the gun again. There is no doubt that Ryder is planning to kill. I have to do something.
My pain is no longer as intense as it was before, much thanks to Ryder's partner, who put me into a much more comfortable position. I have to tell Ryder not to kill, though. He was already free from the grasps of hell.
"Ryder," I whisper softly. I feel Bain shift warily as he hears me say his name. I am almost afraid that Ryder does not hear me but he blinks and turns toward me, with worry shown deep into his silver-amber eyes. Atticus Flair is also staring at me, surprised that I am able to speak, after such a blow to the gut. "Remember the reason as to why you left our hell," I tell him. He blinks and the silver slowly seaps out of his eyes. He understands what I am implying.

Black Tiger: Number One.
"Ryder," she whispers softly. My heart stops at hearing her lyrical voice. It is dry and husky but it is her voice. I slowly turn toward her, looking at her, telling her desperately that I am sorry for not being there soon enough to protect her. She opens her mouth to speak again and I am about to tell her conserve her strength and that I was going to kill the bastard and take care of her soon enough but she speaks.
"Remember the reason as to why you left our hell," she says simply.
I stare at her and blink as all of my anger fades away. The reason as to why I left our hell. The reason why I left Bastion. I understand what she is trying to say. I lower my gun, all the anger and fight out of me. I look at him murderously.
"Stay away from her. Bother her ever again, and I promise you that your head will be gone by the time I'm done with you," I snarl. He gulps but says nothing. I turn back toward my lovely girl and see her trying to stand up, leaning heavily against Bain. I grit my teeth again, jealousy once again flowing through my veins. Nobody was going to have her; she was mine.
I walk over to her and she smiles in a very sad way. I swallow loudly.
"Are you okay?" I ask cautiously, not wanting her to think that I was as freaky as the other guy, who was the new Number Five in which I could tell because of the now visible V tattoo on the side of his neck. She briskly nods.
"I am. Thank you, Ryder," she says and my heart soars. She said 'thank you' to me! She said my name! I think, my heart beating rapidly. I could barely control myself from making her mine in any way I could think of. But I could control. Because it was her.
